varicose/spider vein trouble

Hey all, I was blessed with a family full of skinny women who have varicose vein issues. Now that I'm getting skinnier, I dont want those nasty ugly things on my body. Anyone had work on their veins? If so who did you use, and what kind of treatment did you have? My legs often hurt me pretty badly and I'm sure that is it.

Jana, glad you got your order already. Funny thing is, I haven't even closed my party yet. My mom got her cinnamon muffin mix yesterday and called me today wanting 2 more boxes! Funny.

I have them now. I have an apt on July 16th to have them looked at.  I have out of this world insurance, but it looks like the cost to fix them will be all mine :( Unless they have a blood clot in them then they are "cosmetic".

I will keep you posted on what they say.

I went to the vein sulotions clinic up at st vincents in carmel and my insurance aproved it but  the surgen said 850.00 would be my cost because they said part is counted cosmetic...which was ok with me...they ultrasound and check your legs real good...but then they said for two weeks after the sugery you would have to sit in a recliner and walk every two hours and then there is chances they come back...i decided i had these legs all my life and im not risking my life over these legs...they made this surgery sound scarier then my RNY...so my legs are ok with me....hope this helps...good luck...
