Yes you can do this or at least that's what my NUT told me, the only thing is they also told me at ST. V's that you should drink some 2% milk because you need some fat in your diet, so you might want to drink 3 -1% and 3- 2%.  The only way that I can get my protein in is by using the Nectar chocolate truffle and walmart body fortress (sp) vanilla and making protein ice cream.
I started by using eggfaces recipes and now I make my own up but I make one large shake I add two scoops of chocolate and one scoop of vanilla and 2 cups of milk and  I add sugar free German chocolate cake syrup, or peanut butter SF syrup, or cookie dough sf syrup, there are lots of Sugar free syrups out there that you can add to any of the shakes, once I am done with it I put it in three different cups and eat the three cups a day and that gives me approx. 90 grams of protein a day , then with what I eat I am finally doing ok.  I am 8 months out and there is still no way that I could get that much protein in if I did not do the protein ice cream, I am still eating mostly slider food as solids still make me halve sick.  Everyone is different you will find something that will work for you but it may take a few months and lots of practice.

thanks! as that was what i read in the YELLOW PAGES of our books. I drink 1% anyway and the ice cream you mentioned making....hmmm....a good way of getting the protein.
thanks!

Thank you all. I am/was feeling so overwhelmed with all I need to be doing and sometimes I try to get it all done at once which also does not work. I will try the bullets and Isopure to see if I can tolerate that. I cannot wait to see the dietition tomorrow and have a list of questions written down. I am getting some protein in my meals three times a day so it isnt much but at least I am getting it.

Thank you all!

Hugs

Kristie

I have a question. Would it be ok or has anyone ever used a protein powder, added 1% milk, and then also added powdered milk to get more protein in? I wonder if it will get too grainy? I thought I read this somewhere or something?? Thanks!!

Clarian recommended mixing powdered milk with "real" milk and sugar-free instant breakfast.  You end up with something like 22 g. protein in 8 oz.  I liked it.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
