I am so happy I got on my scales this morning and it said that I have lost 11 lbs this month.  With all the work that I have been doing outside I feel I should have lost at least 50lbs.

I go in less then 2 weeks for my revision.  I am getting really excited.  We are taking a mini vacation over the 4th of July to go see the grandkids before I go for surgery, and our daughter Ashley will be staying down there for most of the month.

I  think I got into something again over the weekend that I am algergic to, this time on my left side.  This is so strange, last 2 weeks it was all on the right side except 2 spot, now I have some appearing on the left arm.  I took the last of my medicine this morning, I may have to call in for another round.  I hope not,

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Hugs

Peggy,

With you working out in the yard alot, were you by any high grasses? Could it be chiggers? You might want to try taking a epson salt bath and see if it helps some. I tend to mount up more and more allergies the older I get so I have to keep a bottle of benadryl pills with me.

Congrats on the pre-surgery weight loss. Just think how stronger your heart, lungs, muscles are going to be for that post-op healing! I love working in the yard. There is just something calming and non-brain needed for that!! I'm hoping to put in a large garden next year. I may have to learn how to make pickles! Bill was going to rent a tiller but this year, we knew my tummy surgery was going to happen so we thought we'd wait till next year for that. I have always loved working outside like that.

If my tomatoes and green peppers turn out I will share, that is about all I planted this year because of my surgery.  I am hoping to be able to get some fresh green beans from my supervisors garden this year and can/freeze them.

I will try anything, I just took a week of perisdone, I will try the epson salt today.  I am putting a call into my doctor again this afternoon.  I will not be pulling anymore weeds before my surgery.

Hugs
