Fun Friday

Thought I would start this tread since I do not see anyone else have.

Hope everyone has fun plans for the weekend.  I am going to Indy this afternoon to visit with my BIL, he is doing better.

I got my pool up this week and it is filling up now, I am hoping to be able to get in it tomorrow.  I am looking forward to at least getting a couple of weeks use out of it before my surgery then I will be setting along the side which is fine.

I have been training all week, finally get a break to get some thing take care of, like my OH fix.  LOL. , got to get my priorities in check.

Guess I better get some work done, talk soon.

Morning all. What a way to start my morning! Storms at 2 am, and power outtages and flooding after that! Oh well, that is what makes the world grow!
Such sadness in the USA right now with all the losses in the entertainment world. Prayers going out to each family. I was a fan, but not like most.
Work is going crazy right now with so many people out with sickness and injuries. We are so short-handed, that we are lucky to get 1 day off a week right now!  That is good on the paycheck, but bad on me physically. Oh well, I will manage.
Hope everyone is doing well. I don't get on here much any more. I am just too busy sometimes, and then other times I just don't have much to say. Such is the life.

Good Friday Morning!!  It's the weekend and it's payday. Woooooooooop Wooooooooooop!!!!!!
My grandson turns 2 tomorrow and my son, his dad, turned 21 on Wed so we are having a double party tomorrow. I have so much work to do to get the house ready and have already worked my tush off outside trying to finish up what landscaping I could. Man, I need to relax on Sunday. I will too because we finally got the pool up and running and got in it last night for the first time. Can I say OMG!!!!  it was wonderful. Peggy, I hope you can get in yours soon too. Ours only took 2 days to warm up. LOL, since it's so friggin hot out there this week.

Howdy Everyone!  I can't wait for today to be over.  Troy and I are going to a surprise party tonight for my best friend.  We haven't gone out partying in ages.  Of course I'm the DD since I dont drink.  I'm really looking forward to it though.  I may have to take advantage of my hubby's drunkeness tonight though (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

This week has been insane.  It was tourney week for my daughter's traveling softball team.  We made it all the way to the game before championship so I'm very proud of them.  They were definitely the underdogs.  They have been coached so well this season.  Their coaches are amazing parents and genuinely care about the kids not the glory.  It has been a great experience for the girls.  We're looking into Fall Ball but not sure yet.  We need a break to get caught up on everything.  Now that softball is finally over though, I can join Curves and start working on getting my butt back on track.

Good morning all....

We don't have any plans this weekend. I'll probably do like I have been and do my Sudoku puzzles till I get sleepy and then take a nap. This surgery seems to have taken alot out of me energy-wise. Bill says it's just my body's way of getting some much needed rest so it can heal. I just hope I get some energy back a week at least before I return to work. There are things I'd like to get done before I go back...like getting my digital frame set up to put on my desk at work. It not only flashes pictures, but it plays MP3's as well. So..I need to get my tunes updated on my pc. That's means alot of time to sit here at my desk. I just don't have the energy for that right now.

Bill's eye appointment went well yesterday. It just seemed strange not going with him. Hopefully, the pain level will start being low enough soon so I can go pill-free during the day and be able to drive again. The next appointment for us is next Monday and it is with Dr. Gupta.

I am trying to get things done here at work.  However, I can't quit feeling these strange growths along my neck and shoulders.  I hear they're called collarbones!!    

8 pounds to Onederland!!!  Wahoo!!

Hubby should be home early tomorrow. Yippee!  He's been gone 2 weeks.

Peggy...I am there with ya on the sand fairies! We had 8 tons delivered last friday and had the kids and their boyfriends all out there with us shoveling and leveling!  Pool was up sat...we were in it sun...and mon I got a cold from the water being only 74...it was worth it though!  Hope everyone has a great weekend and lets hope its a little cooler and not so humid! Maybe we can all go outside and play a bit!  Sheeri...have Tiff bring ya down and we will put ya on a raft and let ya float for the day!   I get lots of energy after that! Guess its cause I sleep while floating..lol

I stayed up during the storm so i slept in really good and sound..
We have been invited with my bff who just got a clean bill of health saying her cancer is n remission to do the relay for life beens my mom is a cancer surviour we are going to do the relay tomorrow..
We sre invited to a hog roast tomorrow night..
Neil says damn girl i wonna rest so me and the kids are doing the relay and for go the roast...
I want a pool ,do you guys have a big pool/
