Good morning all.  I'm back in Ohio for a couple days to visit dad and mom.  Dad is recovering well from his kidney cancer surgery.  The incision line looks great but he has a big bulge near the end of it.  It really scared me so I called his nurse.  They looked at it 2 weeks ago and said that it's fine...not a hernia.....and that the muscles have been cut so it is just still healing.  It doesn't hurt him and he knows what a hernia feels like cause he had one before.  But it looks pregnant.  So I guess I will keep worrying. LOL  He looks great and is doing everything except mow the grass.  He said he'll wait 2 more weeks to do that.  Until then, they have hired it done.

He "goal" is to be able to mow the lawn.  He likes taking care of it HIMself!!

I'll be back Tuesday.  Glad you all had a good time at Jeannie's.  Sherri, take it easy.  You too, Pammie.  I need to go.

Good Late Afternoon Everyone,

I hope everyone had a nice Father's Day weekend. We took Matt and his Dad to Holiday World on Saturday. Had a little scare, as the transmission on the van blew all the fluid out as soon as we pulled into the hotel parking lot Friday night, but after a few bottles of Lucas Oil Transmission Fix It it pulled its'self back together and we were able to get to Holiday World and then home on Sunday.

Today, other then recovering from all the walking we did and the burn I got, I went to my PCP and got the best news. The medical necessity form/application for me to have my excess belly (and partial excess back skin/fat) was approved for a referral for surgery. So now all I'm waiting for is someone from Dr Bergman's/Dr Grasee's office to contact me so I can get into surgery. I'm so excited I could squeal!!!!

The rest of this week I'll be busy teaching Q how to swim across the street at the local pool so I won't be on here much after I post this.

Blessings &  Prayers
