Good morning all!!  and a good day it shall be. After that storm last night, I wouldn't have been so sure, but the forecast looks good and sunny and hot today. I'm waiting for Kim to get here so we can drive to Jeannies and have our ladies day!! It will be so nice to get away and relax.

I have to be at work early today.. Looks like the yard has sticks that need picked up... Next Sat is the triplets 5th birthday.. The party is at my house.  And I just found out I will have to work part of the day.. Ill be home for the party though...I request days off but dont get what I need...

Good morning all!

We had a bit of a scare. Our electricity was one of the 14,000 homes that lost their power last night. Last year (May 2008) when that storm/tornado happened, we were without power for 3 days. There was no way that I could had tried to move meat, etc this time. We were thrilled with the lights came back on at 8:30 this morning! It looks like Bill's big pc monitor may have taken a hit. It's not turning on anyway.

I slept in my recliner last night. Without the drain tube in, I was going to try sleeping in our bed but since it's a waterbed (85% motionless), I just decided to camp out in my chair instead. It's a good thing. I was up a few times during the night to go potty. While getting in the bed may not be a problem, I think getting out of it is going to be a bear.

Lotus was thrilled to see her mama yesterday. She kept coming around to the backside of my recliner last night so she could rest her head on my arm. I think she just wanted to be sure I was staying put.

Jeannie...have fun with the gals today!

Brenda...I hope you have a very successful Pampered Chef Party! I'll send you my order. I'm really not up to going anywhere just yet.

Good Afternoon all,
Up this morning to Goodwill...50 % off day. I spent 11.00 and got Bella a brand New curtain and rod for her room, a swimsuit set and 3d sidewalk chalk. All brand new from target.
I will be at Brenda's around 130 and then off to work. I am suppose to be there at 4 but told them I would be there around 5. Just me. The boys are workin' on Tys new car. they need to pull out the front fender and replace a few pieces.

Good morning all!  I am at work today and tomorrow.  Tired and a bit of a headache I think from the weather constantly changing.  I have been busy this morning too.  My thoughts this morning are with the nurse that was killed by her husband last week in front of her children, Beth Stayer. I worked with her at IU Med Center and she is being laid to rest today. 

On a different note, I went to Old Navy yesterday and broke down and bought some shorts, size 14 and some Med. tops, I am 9 weeks out and down a total of 90 pounds, 36 since surgery.  I am tolerating things a whole lot more than initially, but still lactose intolerant, darn it. 

Everyone going to Brenda's pampered chef party, enjoy!  Melissa, I won't be able to come to your tastefully simple party, my daughter has freshman orientation all day that day.

Linda~  I can so relate to how you are feeling, I had a baby that died at 18 weeks gestation in Jan 2000, had to have a funeral, etc because he was born alive and all I wanted after he died was have another baby, there was a complete void.  I hope you find some peace and comfort today.
