I added hamburger to my diet 24 hours ago. I mesured my portion and did 95% fat free However, I spent the next 24 hours in my bathroom. In fact, I could barely leave my bathroom. I even had to call into work I am getting better now. I haven't had this most unpleasant experience before. Do you think it could have been the hamburger? Wendy

I don't have any experience with beef so I can't really add anything other than to say at St Francis we aren't allowed to have beef for one year.  I will be one year out next month and have not had a bite of beef in dang near a year, I am looking forward to having a lil bit.  I was told its hard to digest.

Hmmm Wendy - not sure.  I frequently eat ground beef with no problem.  In fact, at the conference this past weekend, Chef Dave said we should use 80/20 ground beef and just drain it afterward so that it is moist enough to digest easily.  What did you have with it?

Man, this sucks.  I find ground beef to be the EASIEST meat for me to consume.  I even have trouble with chicken from time to time.  I would look at what you at with it also.  And the think that really sucks is there is no way to know for sure until you try it AGAIN.....man, RNY is so much fun!
