I will be at St. V's tomorrow morning with my daughter.  I would love to come see you both.  Someone please let me know if either go home.

Is there anything that I can bring for either of you?

Just let me know.  Preferably before about 3:30pm today as I don't usually get on the computer at home.

Any idea of what time we can expect you (so I'm dressed and not in the shower )? They aren't discussing a go home day for me yet because it just al depends on how my body reacts, I'm still on clear liquids. Next stage is soft food, then solids. I'll be at each of those levels at least 1-2 days so we can see how well the intestines handle the food, So...I'll be here probablt to the weekend or if not after it.

Gail might go home today. Her room is 218 and mine is 312,

Sherri.....Hope you're feeling better today.  Did those new meds finally kick in and start easing that pain yet?  You sure sounded bad last night, I hope your visit with Tiff was able to cheer you up at least for a while. I know you are very frustrated and want to get out of that place. With all that pain and medical issues and then to get nurses that are so uncaring.  Just remember - you get to leave there soon and then you will have just the people that love you all around.  Sorry we can't make it up for a couple days but if you are still there this weekend I'll be up there so much you'll want to throw me out.  Until then you just take care of yourself and tattle to your doctor about those nurses!

The pain is more under control today. I have about the same level of nurse today as I did yesterday. I think both are wanna be doctors. She wouldn't leave the room  so Dr. Gupta and I could be alone. In fact, she stood there and told me in front of Dr. Gupta that my problem is that I don't walk enough. At that point, I'd taken 3 walks (one downstairs), took my shower, and she had JUST gave me pain meds right before! She didn't even come into my room until 8:45 (relief is at 7/7:30).  After a point, I was afraid to get too far from the room because I didn't want to miss my doctors. So no, I didn't walk as much as I would had liked but she didn't have a clue as to what all I did do!

Bring me a Pampered Chef book and order form when you come..ok? I don't know if my year is up on my discount or not.

I'm still on clear liquids only. Maybe tomorrow.....

Can't wait to see you this weekend!
