It's Saturday

Good morning everyone. Well, it's barely morning. It's 12:35 am and I'm working. I am so bummed that I'm not in Chicago with everyone having a blast. But I'll definately plan on going next year. Can't wait to hear where it will be. I'm doing ok. Gonna start the 5 day pouch test on Monday, looking forward to that. I seem to be stalling in my weight loss (or not losing as quickly as I'd like to). Though I had on a pair of size 14 pants today that were too big for me. I do not own any 12's so i can't wait to go shopping and try some on.

My oldest son has a horrible ear infection and my husband called me at work because my son was crying in pain. I hate hearing that on the phone cause all I want to do is go home and take care of him. Please send up prayers that his ear will feel better tomorrow/today.

I know what you mean Melissa. I wish I was there with them as well. We will get there next year girl. The board is quiet without all of our noisy friends. LOL  Sorry you have to work instead of being home with that lil one but, soon you will be able to go home and comfort him. Your a good mommy! I'm not working, just sitting here at home doing some Avon things and playing with my avatar picture. My hubby took some new photos of me tonight since the last one was when I was only 6 months post op and now I am almost a year. I can't wait for a year from now. Those stalls happen so much that they frustrate you honey but, stick with it and you will be fine.
Don't work too hard and xoxoxo's for you little one to get better quickly.

I'm sorry to hear about your little man (he may be the oldest, but if you are like me with my son...they will ALWAYS be your little men!!!)..I hope he gets feeling better soon....Ill be thinking about him a saying a prayer for him!!!

im up late....just can't sleep and thought I'd get on here and see what everyone was up to...spose to go to breakfast with my BFF this morning and then go truck shopping and maybe TV shopping w/ hubby too...id like to hit up a couple of yard sales also...but hubby has NO sense of humor when it comes to yard sales!!! hahahah!!!

Awwww tks Pam. I was suprised when I saw the pictures Bill took of me. I looked so thin (compare to the pre op) I know I have a lot more to lose but, I am more than half way there and glad that things are still going well. I saw your comments on my pics. The golden retriever is Lilly and she is our older girl, then Chesty is the Bulldog and she is a bit younger than her sister. They are both good dogs and thank you, they are both sucy purdy gurls. Hey you mentioned sons and no matter how old they are still your babies. Well, my son is almost 21 (11 days from today) and he is still my baby. He and I just took my daugher, his sister, to a friends house. Yes, at 1:30 am LOL. Kids! I never stay up this late anymore so, this is fun to be on here talking at this time of day. I'm getting close to nodding off soon though. Pappy (my hubby) is in bed with our grandson, Jacob and they look so sweet.

At work here too and wishing I was at home sleeping! First night back and all that stuff. This Chicago trip sounds like fun, I wish I knew more about it.
As far as the kids go and always being your babies, my boys are 23 and 20 and will be my babies until I die. I always tell them be careful any time they leave the house and the oldest , Jacob, says "Mom don't worry, you know I am always careful" I tell him i won't worry anymore when I am not your Mom any more . Since that isn't gonna happen anytime soon I guess your stuck with it!

Good Morning my fellow Hoosier Losers.  I am up and at em getting ready for work.  Got up a few minutes earlier than normal today so I get to have an extra cup of coffee (decaf).  Its funny how I drink only decaf now but still enjoy my coffee in the mornings.  I assumed when I switched to decaf I would quit since the joy would be gone, but quite to the contrary I enjoy it much more I think.  Anyway not much going on in my neck of the woods today, after work I may try to sneak in a lil bit of swimming if the rain will hold off, its been a terrible year to try to swim, sure be glad to have it straighten up some. 

I am thinking about heading to Akron OH the weekend of the 26th for a euchre tourney.  I used to attend this tourney every year, even ran it for many years but missed it last year due to having surgery.  Since we only have one vehicle (hubby drives a company truck) I may have to rent a car to go over there, any advise on a rental?  I am thinking our auto insurance sent us some coupons for a rental car, I will have to dig and see.

Jeannie, if you don't want anything big or fancy, check out priceline, expedia, travelocity, etc. You can get a nice small car for cheap. Good luck.

Good Morning Ladies,

Working here this morning also. I wish we were all in Chicago too. Next year.....  Yeah on the 14's I was so happy when I got there. Not so happy that I am back there. but working on getting out of them again and since I refuse to buy any bigger pants I will have to lose or go naked, and that would be an aweful site.  Hope everyone has a safe and fun Saturday, I just got news that I am stuck at work til 10am. So I just won't get my nap in today before all the plans start taking place.  Oh well!! Happy Saturday and all you guys in Chicago are missed on here.

Good morning all. It really is going to be a good day....I can just tell. Jimmy and the girls will be manning the yard sale while I am at work. At least they will be able to spend time outside on this gorgeous day!!!
I am getting ready to go to work. 11-7 today, so it is a short day for me! Wooo Hooo!
Tomorrow is the last day I work for 4 days! The girls, Jimmy and I will be leaving early Monday morning for Arkansas to visit with Jimmy's mother and grandmother.  We will be leaving the girls in Arkansas again this summer.  This is one of the last times they will be going. We have said that they don't have to once they are 10 years old. We will just have to see.
