Intro

Hey y'all! Just a quick note to intorduce myself! My name is Vanessa and I live in Evansville. Although I don't have an exact surgery date yet..it's looking like sometime in August at this point.
I am alternatively thrilled and terrified! Thrilled that I will be back to the person I used to be and terrfied that..I will gain it all back, that I will look old and saggy...oh just a million things.
Anyway nice to see all you fellow Hoosiers out there and to know that support is just an internet connection away!

LOL Linda!    I am a little worried about being saggy too. I cannot afford plastic surgery. I am trying to work on my toning pre-op (hoping that will help).

Saggy, LOL this is how I would prefer to be, rather than filling out my 2x - 3x uniforms. sag tucks in better than fat does.

Welcome to the Indiana board, great to have ya.  I never worried about the saggy skin cause the sad fact is we have the skin regardless of our weight at this point so our only options are to have it hang here and there or have it filled with fat.  I have batwings at this point but I don't let them bother me, I wear sleevless shirts.  My boobs are saggy, they were before surgery too.  My belly, well I am just not sure yet what will happen there as the 25 pounds I have left to lose are still right there in my belly so its still full of fat at this point.  My surgeon said the skin looks good there and I will probably not need a surgery on my belly.  I don't intend to have any plastic surgery at this point, I am ok with what I have been left with after losing 120 pounds.  I buy good under garments and suck it in and actually look descent in clothes.
