Scarlett Fever

I saw the post about the kids being diagnosed with Scarlett Fever.   My boys are 31 and 28 now and when they were young devils, they both had scarlett fever too.  Matt had it several times until he finally had his tonsils out!  Then he never had it again.  So it can re-occur like strep throat, etc.

One tell tale sign is a Strawberry Tongue.  My kids tongues were kinda red and looked like they had those seed holes like a strawberry.  That was kinda funny.

My grandma freaked out when I told her they had scarlett fever.  She was over 90 and back in her day lots of people died from it.  But she lived until 103 years young. 

The kids should be fine.  Take care.
