Happy Saturday

So, I am up and running!  Good morning all.

I woke up at 7 and got busy doing things that need to be done before Monday.  I am gonna be so glad to be going back to work.  7 months of vacation was a bit much when it couldn't be traveling on a cruise ship!  LOL

Marc has 2 games today so I will spend some of it at the ball field.  I thought since Tyler took the summer off from baseball that I wouldn't have to go to the diamonds as much.  WRONG.  Silly me for thinking after 4 kids playing ball year round that 14 years later I am now going for my hubby's games.  I love it outside so, I will enjoy the sunshine.

I hope everyone is having fun at Holiday World.  I sure wanted to go.  But timing was just too close to Chicago.  Next year maybe we can go.

Hope everyone is having fun this weekend.  I am getting ready to get outside and start doing much need yard work.  I am going to get my tomatoes and pepper plants in the garden, get some mulch around some of our plants. I got one lot mowed last night, got 3 more lots to go today.  I am hopingto get some carpet shampooed this weekend, noit sure that is going to happen this weekend, I just got a call from my brother in law and he has asked if I was coming to Indy he need to go and pick up a few things, so I will probalbly be in Indy tomorrow.

Guess I better get busy.

I was checking out the maps.....Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe Kokomo as a Pick up/ drop off? Then we could hit 65 north Let me know. how about 9 am or 10 on friday.

Morning all.  I'm with Tracy - the timing of Holiday World was too close to Chicago - so maybe next year.

Being lazy today....   Gotta get laundry done up as the boys leave Friday to start their cross country adventure, leaving moi on my own!

I couldn't get to sleep til 3am so hubby let me sleep in til 10:30 this morning. I think it's the latest I've slept in YEARS. Was nice of him, but now I feel like poo.

It's getting hot again here in south eastern Indiana, so the kids and I are inside enjoying the AC.  Hopefully after a day of lots of heat, our little pool will be warmed up tomorrow and the kids can get in the sun. (my son has severe eczema and heat makes him blister up. And it's just not fair for him to see his sister out playing when he can't...so they're running like mad people in the basement right now)

I'm on day 6 of my pre-op diet. Haven't killed anybody yet...so YAY!

Hi everyone. Hope everybody at holiday world is having fun.  I know we did yesterday there other then the Pilgrams Plunge wasn't operating, I sooooo wanted to ride it.  We were gonna go today too but we decided when we got up we would just eat breakfast and head home, one day was enough for us. Due to operation reconnect thru the military we had ours paid for and the hotel.  We had loads of fun though, just tired, and sun burnt, well a few of us are that chose not to use the free sunsreen they provide LOL.  I hadnt been to a amusement park since loosing my wieght so it was quite different being able to fit right and not have to squeeze myself into the seats and/or be embarressed when if I had to get off cuz I didnt.  Although, my boys are quite big boys and I did feel for my oldest that was having difficulties,  I even had to refrain myself from giving some teenagers a piece of my mind while in line for the rollercoaster, they waited until my son wasn't looking and started talking about him, not knowing that I was mom behind him, Let me tell you I was livid!!!! I do not have the patients for stuff like that, and I would normally blow up over it but cuz I knew I would make a bigger scene and embarress my son, I kept quiet, although when we passed by them again, I did lean over the rail and said something quietly but enough that they could hear me, ooooops I just couldn't help it, thats my son and I dont care what people think but I will defend him, no matter what he looks like I still love him for who he is.  Other then that way to much fun, I have actually never been on water slides and no where that big, ooooh boy they were  a blast, FREEZING COLD WATER let me tell ya, I was a big ball of goosebumps the whole time ha ha ha... Well I hope everyone enjoys their weekend. Time for me to do something, just dont know what lol
