Question about Holiday World

I usually post on the LapBand forum, but since I had a question about Holiday World, I thought I would get the best answers on the IN board.  Do/did any of you have trouble riding the roller coasters and such at 250 lbs?  I am planning on going in a couple of weeks.  I have not been able to ride the rides in over 20 years.  I don't want to go and be disappointed!!

Bill & I go to the amusement parks every  year. I don't think I ran into any problems until I got past the 300 mark. I'm 5'6" so that made for a pretty rotound belly.

Have fun! Sure you don't want to come this weekend? Several of us from the Indiana board will be there Saturday.

Thanks for the info.  I am so looking forward to it.  I would love to come this Saturday, but I promised my cousin that she could be with me when I got to ride for the first time, so we have already asked for the day off on June 12th.  Have fun!!!!

I was at 250 when I was there last and had no problems. I have not been back since then because I broke my back that day on one of the water rides and litigation was involved.  Conflict of interest of sorts. You should be okay though...the water rides are great and not too restrictive! I loved them more than the amusement ones anyways. Either way...have fun!
