Camp out????
I know that I have read some posts about a camp out that I think is in August? I looked back on the posts on several pages but didn't find the info? I was wondering who had the info and if it was too late to plan on coming??? We like to camp and we have a boat if we are near a lake....thankks for any info.
The camp-out is in Middlebury at the KOA there. Yes, we'll still be having it. It is the same weekend as the Middlebury festival...which is usually the first or 2nd weekend in August. I'll try to find out when it is scheduled for this year.

Candy,
I just looked it up. The Summer Festival will be August 7th & 8th. So...the camp-out will start on Friday the 7th and go through to Sunday the 9th. As I get more information from Hope, I'll post it....or Hope will.

Angel,
Hope (the KOA owner) tries to put all of us as close together as possible. When you make the reservation, you just have to mention 'Obesity Help' group. Hope is a member here on the Indiana board also but is very busy this time of year so she doesn't post much. Hope also usually gives us a little bit of a discount so that's cool too.
Last year, we had a pitch-in dinner and breakfast. Quite honestly, it was just too much work. I would rather we all go to the Amish restaurant and enjoy them doing the work. Especially for dinner. And then we can have our usual sugar-free smores, etc around the campfire (do bring lawn chairs for this).

Yeah...so I am gonna have to get my OWN tent. Hubby will have ours. Which is okay b/c it is a HUGE beast and I don't like to mess with it.
A festival AND camping? Surely not. What does the festival have? The only think I hate is that I don't do so well in the sun/heat. I have LUPUS. I have learned to deal but it is SOOOO hot in August. I want an RV also. This way I have AC! :) But an RV is WAY DOWN on the list of things to buy.
