Insurance Update!

Hey everyone! I haven't ever posted here on the Indiana Forum, but I just wanted to let everyone know some exciting news. My mother has the HIP (Healthy Indiana Plan) insurance and as of June 1st they are going to start covering bariatric surgery. I just wanted to share this with everyone. I don't know how many people have this, but if so I hope it can be of some help to you!

Hello Lindsey,
I have HIP and they coverd my surgery, I had on may 19. When you sign up for HIP you get a choice between MDWISE or ANTHEM I picked MDWISE and glad that I did because every one I know that chose ANTHEM has said they could not get approved by them.
