I'm sure you're fine to do it whenever. People have multiple surgeries back to back. You're several months out and I'm sure no one would say it would be unsafe. Good luck.

i am just getting over open heart surgery and my cardiac surgeon said it was OK for me to have my WLS 6 wks out providing nothing goes wrong between now and then...
just my experience.

I had to have a RNY revision 6 months after my RNY. In 2006 when I was in a coma they did 4 surgeries within 9 days. So..depending on the situation, no problem with the timing. Since 2002, we have actually made jokes (my dh & I ) to each other that I have a two surgery per year minimum. I think 2009 will be the same. Hmm..it'd be nice if 2010 breaks the ritual though!

I would think though since your arm does not affect your mobility that there should definately be no issues with getting it done.

Good luck!!
