help
Increase your B vitamins. It helps me and can't hurt you. Also, memory takes a hit at the age of menopause. Increasing soy intake (protein source) can help balance hormones and reduce the effects on memory.
No worries, we all do the things you describe. My biggest one is I'm on the internet doing something (like OH) and think "oh, I want to look up the lyrics to a favorite song" so I hit the google button and by the time the screen changes (even with high speed internet) I can't remember what I wanted to look up.
Reminds me of a joke: Two little old women have played gin rummy every day for 25 years. One day one of them looks at the other and says, "I hate to have to ask, but I cannot think of your name to save my life." Her friend replies, "Do you have to know today?"

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
Just a few weeks ago, when I had my 18 mth check up, I brought up the fact that they should put forgetfulness and scatter brainess in the side effects. He looked at me kinda of funny and then asked if I was really having that problem and I siad ooooh yes, very bad and often. I said I cant remember crap. He said he found that interesting because he just had a few patients complain of that too just here recently. One he said is an accountant and was very good with his numbers with out the calculator but now he has to use his calculator often. He was say the vitamin B's could be it but he also said something about Calcium could also effect that, I dont know I hadn't heard of that one but I am not good at taking the calcium pills of mine, so it made me think it could very well be that. It looks like to me that if we as post op patients have that problem alot then maybe it could very well be something todo with our vitamins. Just thought I would let you know that u weren't the only one with this problem, not that I was a big help but you know I tried lol.
