I am  no doctor but I think that it is pretty safe to say that your memory issues are NOT mental health issues.  I am sure it might be a combo of things...stress, blood sugar, vit. def.,hormones.  I would just have your surgeon give you a really good looking over.

I wonna just say thanks everyone i am so happy to know that not every thinks im crazy.
I take b12 nasal spray and my b12 levels are always off so my pcp said if they are off again she is putting me on the shots.My legs are bruised and she thinks its my iron .I have a great surgeon but he left  our area and moved alittle further away.and my appt with him is in JUly so my pcp said she would take of me til then.

I have taken the shots monthly since my surgery. Never tried anything else. I think they work better, IMHO. An added bonus for me is that my insurance pays for the injection. I don't have a copay even, whereas I would need to pay for other supplements out-of-pocket.

Im not sure why he gave me the spray but it is a pain in the but like shootin red kool aid up my nose then i got to remember to rotate it the next week.
I think with the shots i will feel better.

Well since I am WLS preop..i can't speak of where you are coming from on that front...but on having sudden and tramautic things happen...i do know of that...and i will tell ya w. everything going on...i have question my own sanity as Huntington's Disease is rampid in my family...
i cant remember CHIT!!! nadda...nothing!!!!! it's scary as hell....even when i'm typing on here...i WATCH myself do it...i can't seem to find the right words (that's happening all the time to me verbally too)....i can't remember names of simple items...like laundry baskets, etc....
sooooooooo stress and sudden changes can have ALOT to do with what's happening to you...

You are so funny,my grandmal used to try to yell us and she would end up going thru everyones name til she got it right by the time she was real mad and we as kids laughed at her .Thinking she was crazy and now its sad cause all us girls do the same thing.
Ive noticed the only time my mind works is in an emergency.
I walked around wally world 10 or 12 times cause i know im forgettin something.

I have to confess - my Mom and I call this partial-heimers.  We've done this for years and it hasn't gotten any better or worse since my surgery.  We BOTH make a list of thing we need at the grocery and would you believe between the TWO lists we still forget something?  LOL  I am sooo easily distracted it's pathetic.  Face it you have you, Neil and the kids your trying to keep track of.. so what if you forget what you went to the bedroom for... bet you don't forget why you went to the bathroom! LOL

Thats to funny i was headin down the hallway to the potty room and got sidetracked and forgot to go to the potty til i  had to run before i wet my drillies.
Neil said why did you wait so long (duh)next time you see me headin south dont talk to me til i set back down.
I make a list and forget and leave it in my purse ,but they wanted bananna pudding so i bought cook n serve pudding the boys brought the bags in but the next day went to fix it and couldnt find the puddin anywhere .They are saying you didnt buy any why you blamin us i turned the kitchen upside down couldnt find it anywherre.So thinking im crazy i gave up and later that night i went to get something off the server and there it was well i woke everybody up in the house and told them look i did buy it IM NOT CRAZY .
They told me to shut up and go to bed.lol

My family calls it Old- timers.  It is a natural part of aging.  A part that is not fun but still a natural part.  Just wanted to say Save a place for me in the nuthouse!!!
