Holiday World Hotel Info!!! FINALLY!!!

Sorry I've been gone.  We took a much needed vacation.  As most of you know, Troy works in the automotive industry (AK Stell) and things have been pretty stressful for him.  Got back to work yesterday and all HECK broke loose for him.  Poor guy.  He just can't get a break. 

Here's the info you've been waiting for...

Comfort Inn and Suites in Rockport will give us a $64.95 rate.  It's $5 more than last year but hey, everyone is feeling the pinch so I'm grateful anyway.  The number for this one is 812-649-2979.  You MUST mention that you are booking through Lincolnland Economic Development Corporation to get this rate. 

Stacey Schulte, Inn Keeper for The Rockport Inn, is offering another deal for us.  She only has a few rooms since it's a Bed & Breakfast.  She'll do rooms for $55 and $65.  Stacey will take $5 off if you do not want the breakfast.  I told her we were meeting in Santa Claus for the breakfast buffet at Santa's Lodge so she said she'd take that off if you mention it to her.  Tell whoever you're talking to that you're with Jacqui Duncan and you'll get this rate.

I'm really, really sorry I dropped the ball on this guys.  I know we're going to have a great time though.  I can't wait to see everyone!

How much is the admit to Holiday World for adults and kids?

Is there a discount breakfast rate for the Santa Lodge?

Is there a discount rate for rooms at the Santa Lodge?

How far away is Rockport?  Do they have a pool?

I'm not Jacqui but I know a few of those answers...

There is not a discount rate at Santa's Lodge. There aren't many rooms left there. For a Deluxe Queen, it is ~$256 for Friday & Saturday night (with taxes).

The breakfast discount for Saturday morning's buffet at Santa's Lodge was ~$3 per person last year.

Rockport is ~30 minutes from Holiday World.

Floyd said something about there being a band..I believe it's at the Comfort Inn...Jacqui...?

We've made reservations at the Rockport Inn.  When I talked to Jacqui the other night, she said they are going to have a band at the Rockport Inn on Saturday night.  Last year we ate there twice and the food was fabulous.  We stayed at the Comfort Inn last year and it was pretty nice.  It does have a pool.  The drive from Rockport to Holiday World isn't bad.  In fact, last year I had to go back to the room to pick up something and Brenda hardly missed me while I was gone.  LOL

Bill had already made reservations at Santa's Lodge for us so that's where we'll be at. With it being right across the street from the park, it works for us...even if it isn't at a discount. After walking around Holiday World during the day on Saturday, I doubt if I'll be up to the band..so enjoy!
