Welcome home Pam, like Tracy has already said we missed the he** out of you last night.  I am glad that you are home and doing well.  If there is anything I can do let me know, I can be there in a short period of time.  I am sure I can get Tracy to come with me.

Who knows in 6 weeks we may be taking out first laps around the floor together, my revision is scheduled for 7/10/9.  Make room Pam and I are on our way.

Talk care

Hugs

Pam,

Welcome home! I hope you enjoy your time at the 'sitters'. Just relax and let Mom wait on you.

It's good to see that your cardiologist is going to be sure you aren't waiting forever to get back on the bariatric surgery list. 6 weeks will fly by! In the meantime, just get stronger so you can fly through all of this with ease. Just think, come Christmas, you are going to definately be the new & improved Pammie!

PAM!!!!  so glad your back. You just rest and take care of yourself. Like Jamie said,  "head to toe baby". Sounds like you have good docs taking care of you now, just rest and let the sitters and your hubby nurse you back to health. Then 6 wks and bring on the WLS. It will seem like a breeze compared to what you have already gone through.
Good Luck girlfriend. We are all here for you.
Glad your back, I missed that avatar too!!
Be Well  : )

awwwwwwww shucks....
thanks you guys!!!
i appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers you guys have put in on me....i begin to tell ya that means to me....
welp....being babysat by my folks wasn't too bad....
dad pretty much stayed to himself (he has some issues, but their HIS, not mine!)
mom has a shower chair, so she helped me take my first shower this AM!!! whoooooohoooooooo...i cant tell ya how GREAT that felt!!!  my mom and i aren't very close and after all the times i had to be her "nursemaid", i just broke down and couldn't believe that she was doing this for me....that in itself is AMAZING!!! soooooooo...i lost it...im pretty emotional right now, but i hear that's how some ppl are after open heart surgery
i didnt really think about it until this morning and oh surgery recovery is kinda like wls recovery...sip, sip, sip. walk, walk walk...
trying to take it easy on the sip sip sip tho...i tend to "sip" too much and right now in 8 days have gained TWENTY FOUR lbs..all in water weight...little scary when recovering from oh surgery...gotta take lasix for that then potassium for the potassium the lasix is "washing" outta my body....
my scar................
oh that's another story...LORD!!!! it looks horrible, but beats the alternative!!!
now my fight w. AFLAC begins so i can my disability...i hope they do it quick...b/c i got noooooooooo money comin in honey....that's another story all together....
i will be on here when i can.....
i still tire easily and am taking some good meds so i sleep alot

Glad you're home Pammie.  With your sense of humor, I know you will recover from this just fine.  Attitude is so important in our surgeries.  This has definately prepared you for WLS in 6 weeks.  It should be a piece of cake without the calories,  compared to this.
Big hugs,
Kat
