Ok, so you know how my son, his girlfriend and my grandson have moved in with us? Well, my son just called me here at work to tell me that my sweet, little, innocent, almost 2 yr old grandson was in a lot of trouble. So, I asked him why and what? He then proceeds to tell me that they are getting it cleaned off real good. I then said WHAT? CLEANING OFF WHAT? Evidently sweet little Jacob is an artist! He took a permanent marker that my son left on the table last night and he wrote all over with it. This is the ground he covered: the kitchen floor (linoleum), walls, white refridgerator, white brand new dish washer and white brand new oven, the floor leading from the kitchen to the mudd room, mudd room floor walls, white washer, white dryer and the back white door.
I'm glad that I am a sensible woman.... did I really say that?
Ok, so, since they told me that they were Mr. Clean Magic Erasering everything and it was coming off (MOST THINGS) I wasn't too upset. I did however say (rather loudly) "How long did you leave that child alone?" I guess my son was talking on the phone in the other room. I would have given $2 to see his face when he walked out of him room and saw all of that mess. I guess he kind of paniced and was afraid to tell me (HA-HA...signs I've done my job as a mom right). It's a good thing that I am going home alone tonight because my husband is working late, my daughter is staying at a friends and the kids are going to the fair. I'm sure they won't be home until after I have already gone to bed.
Perhaps I should take a zanax before I go home..... ya think?   LOLOLOL

Be Well  : )

Definately take the Zanax! My sweet innocent 2 year old recently wrote all over my kitchen walls with a pencil that my oldest son left on the kitchen table. I haven't bothered to repaint, cause I'm sure he'll do it again when his daddy isn'****ching him! Never does those kinds of things on my watch, not sure how it happens when daddy is in charge!

Johnna, that reminds me of a time when I thought my little boy was in our bedroom watching tv, when I go to check on him it looks kind of foggy in there . The closer I got it hit me, the smell of baby powder, he was in there having a good ol time w/ two bottles (one in each hand) just shaking away  .
What a mess, I never saw so much powder, some places were a 1/2" deep, all over the tv, bed, floor, and anywhere it settled.  Took a while to clean that mess up  And since then he has been quite the artist on our walls and tv's etc.  Those Magic Erasers were a life savor ~~~

Johnna,

Tiffany was quite the little chef at 2 yrs old. I woke one morning to find EVERYTHING that was openable by her small hands all mixed together across the entire kitchen floor....flour, sugar, cereal, SYRUP. You name it. If it was in a box or bottle, she had it in her little soufle of wonderment. She was VERY proud of herself when I came into the room and with an adorable smile said 'I make you breakfast Mommy'. I will never forget that moment!

Now...her wonderful munchkins? They are also artists. The Little Princess/Dora/Diego beds that I seached for them for Christmas are each filled with squiggle lines of every color that I think Crayola has developed! I've seen the squiggles have gone beyond the beds to the walls also. Knowing Tiff..with her being my child...she's just waiting for them to get big enough to handle a paint brush and then they can repaint all the walls. lol!

kids..you gotta love them....
