Prayers for my family

Another rough week for one of the OH'ers.  My nephew, whom I dearly loved passed away unexpectedly on Tues. May 12, 2009.  He was just 22 years old.  We buried him on Sat.  He has a son who is only 3 months old.  Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as you continue to hold your loved ones close.

I heard of this tragedy. I'm sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and for the other family who told me about this. These losses this year are devastating.

I am reminded about a story I heard after my Lucy died ten years ago. It was in a book about grief. A mother who lost her son wanted him back, and the god told her to bring him a mustard seed from the house that had known no grief. She could not find one.

I don't tell you that to mean this should be any easier, just to remind you that many of your brothers and sisters on OH share grief with you, and you can turn to us to listen and lend a shoulder.

Kim, I am praying for you and your family.  I know exactly what you are feeling.  We had Jason's services yesterday.  He had 2 small children.  We were all so very close and it tore my heart out.  But I am waking up this morning and moving forward with Jason in my heart.  It's hard but we have to do it.  Please know many of us share in your grief and we all are here for you.
