Happy Saturday

Good Saturday morning my fellow Hoosier Losers.  I am up and at em getting ready for work.  I heard on the radio last night that the rain is suppose to clear up this afternoon, thank goodness.  Me and hubby were able to find a break in the rain long enough last night to get my peddle boat all cleaned up from the winters wrath.  We even put it in the water for about half an hour.  I must say that peddling the boat this year was like night and day from last year, it sailed through the water.  Last year I was so heavy that I probably made the propeller go too deep and it was hard to peddle, so we only used it probably three times all season.

I am back to working five days a week now, I had wanted to only work four for the summer months but we really need to put a heat pump in our house before next winter.  Our light bills this winter (total electric) were enough to choke a horse.  I don't mind working, especially if I have a goal to work for such as the heat pump.

Peace and Love to you all.

Good Morning Chicks.....

I am doing a load of laundry, getting a shower, and then off to Curves, tan, and getting a pedicure.
Tonight I have to work the bar at the Moose.....
This weather is driving me nuts.....
I went to see the Dr. yesterday.......I have gained 2 pounds since she saw me 6 months ago.  Everyone said that they consider that maintaining......So i poured my heart out to both Jessica and Dr. Cacucci.....Everything went well I guess.  Dr. Cacucci said that she thinks I am where my body is happy....and that when I have my plastics that the scale will show that.  She encouraged me to maintain and start towards my plastics......So next I am calling Dr. Bergman and Grasse......On the topic of my thyroid.....I have an overactive thyroid, and she has never seen that in someone post-op.....So i am talking to my internist about it.......She said that all my bloodwork was excellent, so continue what I am doing.  I told her that I have bad days where I fall off the wagon.....she said that as long as I get back on AND continue doing my excerise I will be just fine.  We also talked about how everyone tells us we look so good, but our brains fail to believe it, or OUR eyes to see it.  All very normal and she said that it takes awhile.......
So then I scheduled out one year from now......
Then off to do some shopping with my Mom.....had a wonderful afternoon........

Ok, I go.......Love..Holly

Good morning all...

I'm off to a slow start this morning. It was such a busy & tiring day yesterday. Lots of fun, but wore me out. I am not use to being around a very active 5 yr old all day anymore. I got her some outfits, a very pretty party dress (her birthday party with her friends is tomorrow), Jonas brothers t-shirts/buttons/posters, Hannah Montanna shoes/back-pack, hat, and her first bike with training wheels. Myranda LOVED the escalator at Sears! I think we could have spent the day going up & down it and she would had been thrilled. lol!

This afternoon, I'll be going over to Tiffany's. Shellie (Bill's daughter) is having a partylite candle party. Anyone want to join me? it's at 3 and on the near eastside (near 10th & Rural).

That's about it for the day I think...whew! I feel like I could use a nap and I haven't been awake very long!

huggs!

Good morning all.

I am in the process of trying to get some things sorted around here.  I feel like we accumulate way too much junk too quickly.  I am NOT a pack rat and it seems..somebody .... in this house just might be trying to be one.  Hmmmm.  I wont mention any names, but he is making his MARC! by packing junk all in the garage, yard barn, and now the attic.  I feel a rummage coming on!

I am going to do laundry most of the day today.  I had a rough week and didnt really get much done except washing all the bed linens and towels.  So, the mountain has pilled up again.

One Wow moment this week, Jason's wife wants us all to wear our Colts jerseys to the visitation since our family spent nearly every game at my sister's watching the games together and Jason loved that more than anything.  So I got out my jersey, and it is a 2XL, needless to say.... it was more than a dress.. it now hangs past my knees and is sleeves to my wrists.  So,  I had to get out the one that my "adopted" son got me for Christmas.  I was afraid it wouldnt fit.  It was tight at Christmas.  It actually fit very nicely and I am happy to say I will be sportin' a size L women's jersey!  That's so awesome!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Stay safe and stay dry!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Tracy that sounds like a wonderful tribute to your nephew.  All the colts jersey's will be so cool.
