Happy Fridayyyyyy!

Good Friday Morning my fellow Hoosier Losers.  Once again its my Monday lol...some days I want to have a "normal" job again working mon - fri.  Guess I am lucky to have a job during these times.  Had my 9 month follow up appt yesterday, all is good.  My doc mentioned that I am 15 - 20 pounds from goal, this is the first time anyone has mentioned a goal weight for me.  I am to start eating three prunes a day since I am having bathroom issues, I don't mind the prunes if I get the individually wrapped ones at Walmart.  My blood work results were not at hand yesterday, this is the second time that has happened.  I don't know if Morgan Co hospital is not sending them or if the surgeons office is just not getting them where they need to be but I plan to get to the bottom of it because I pay $180 out of pocket for those test and feel I at least deserve a chance to talk about them.  I met with the nuts yesterday and learned that I need to be using a low fat dressing on my salads instead of a fat free because the litte bit of fat helps your body use the nutrients in the food so I can now branch out into more than one salad dressing choice lol.

I stopped in Walmart when I left the surgeons office and bought the cutest dress and a new bra.  Then over to my son's tattoo shop, my tat is finally finished!!!  It looks so good, I will have to get the before and after pics from Keith so you guys can see what a great cover job he did. I got the stupidest ugliest tattoo when I was in my 20's after a night of drinking.   He had to free hand it all because the tat he covered was done in black ink only.  I told him he needs to advertise himself and "mr fix it" lol.

Peace and Love to you all.
Jeannie

Good Friday morning all. Hope everyone is doing well. Prayers going out to all in need. Please keep my mother in your prayers as well.  She is resting comfortably right now.  The nursing home is still trying to feed her foods for the moment, so she is getting some form of sustinance for a little while longer.
So sorry to hear of all the tragedy's on the board. These are very rough times for all of us. Prayers for all.
Jeannie, congrats on your tat! While we were in MI, my nephew finally was able to give me mine.  I will have to post some pictures once I get a chance.  I have posted them on my FB tho, so if you have FB, please check them out, and add me too!
Gotta get the girls up and ready for school......they are taking snacks to their class today that they made.  They went on a tour of the Jiffy plant in Chelsea on Monday, and got sample boxes to bring home, so that is what they want to talk about, and crossing the border too.  Their classmates were so excited to see them yesterday. They were happy to be back too.
Time to go. Have a great day all!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning, friends. I have another long day in front of me, what with working both jobs. It's okay though. I'm just waiting for my day off on Sunday :-)

I go to the chiropracter this morning. Had much, much lower back pain for about a week now. Went on Wednesday, and he said the xray shows degeneration between the L5 and S1. He thinks he can help with the pain though, so that's good.

good morning all!

I have a couple of errands to run here and then I am gonna try to get ahold of Sherri and see about going down to visit with her if time allows.  I really need a break from my "normal" life so to speak.  Yesterday afternoon, I put the dogs out to go to the "potty" in my fenced in yard.  They were out there 5 minutes.  I went to bring them in and someone had taken my minpin puppy I just got for mother's day from my kids.    My heart is broken and I know Kelli will take it really hard as well.

I just want a ray of sunshine in my life for a change.  I have to help my sister's family with food prep for the family members coming in from out-of-state to be here for the funeral.  His body was released late last night so he should be home by tomorrow.  I just found out LeeAnn's niece is married to my BIL's brother.  So, she is Jason's Aunt also.  Small world.  The services and visitation is Monday and Tues.  so it will be a rough start to my week.  But I really need to be able to spend this time with my family.  So, in a strange way, I look forward to seeing all of them.  Just wi**** was Christmas instead.  Ya know?

I hope you all have a great day.  I am gonna have to try and shove alot of stuff into my Friday.

Huge hugs
Tracy

Tracy,

I'm taking Myranda shopping for her birthday presents this morning and then we're going for lunch. I'm not use to a 5 yr older and this is our first time out together...alone...so...I don't look for this to be an all-day event. I plan to be home in the early afternoon. How will that work out with all the stuff on your plate today? Give me a calll or a text when you are ready to head this way & with an approximate time you'll be here and I'll make sure I'm home by then.

I can't believe someone stole your baby! Was there no way that it could have gotten out of the fence? The other day, Lotus got out of the yard. We think that the kids next door was playing ball and it went in our yard and they didn't relatch the gate. Fortunately, Lotus just went around to the front yard where Bill was. I hope you find him/her.

love you...

Good morning all!

Well..I am about ready to hop in the shower and then go pick up my big girl granddaughter Myranda. She turned 5 yesterday. I decided that when the grandkids turn 5, they are old enough for Mamaw & me days to where we go shopping for their birthday present together and then do lunch. This will be Myranda's first time with me by ourselves. She is so excited that she is telling EVERYONE (including the cashier at Kroger's!!) that she's going to go shopping with her Mamaw today. LOL! Now, THAT is something her Mommy would had done at that age!

Jeannie..you might want to try Smooth Move tea (Meijer's), or Dieter's tea (Walmart). Either will help to move things along better than a bottle of colace! Also, try eating 1 cup of Fiber One cereal a day. The original has 28 g of fiber per cup. 30 g is what my nut recommended. With the fats..I do saute veggies..but I use Canola or Olive oil. These will also help bring your bad cholesterol down and increase your vitamin E....I needed both to be done a few years ago and they are both fine now. Congrats on getting your tat done! Didn't we all do something in our 20's that by the time we reach our 40's, we are thinking 'what in the heck was I thining???'? Good ole days? Nope..just dumb days..

You all have a good day today!

Morning everyone.  Nothing to exciting here, just making my deliveries, phone calls, laundry, and when my daughter gets home I get to do her up all pretty in her new dance recital costume and get her recital pics done.  Then she's off to mammaw's house cuz she get to go to the track with them on sat.  She loves going there, and roots for Danica the whole way.  I think we are going but seperate, cuz she love to have mammaw and peepaw (thats what she calls him lol) time.

Tracy I think its terrible that somebody would just take your new puppy. What are people thinking these days, never ceases to amaze me at they do any more.  We dont have  a fenced in yard so we always take ours out on a leash and they only stay out when we are, we have a full blooded boxer and minature dushhound, and then theres a 7 month old horse lol which really needs a new home so if anybody knows of somebody that would be good parents to a dog and needs a outside dog (cuz that is really what he needs to be) let me know.

Sherri have fun with your grand daughter, I'm sure she will have fun. I know my 5 yo loves to shop lol but we would leave with tons of shoes if it was up to her, she is a shoe fanatic. At the age of 2 if we walked by the shoe department and didnt stop to try some on she would cry and cry and cry.

Hope everbody has a great day!

I have been off for 2 days I go back tonight  for 5 hours, Sat for 8 hours and Sunday for another 5..not bad but I have been sitting with my sister during the day... Poor thing is shutting down.. will drink water but will hardly eat any food.. maybe a bite.. She woke up long enough yesterday to recognize Pastor Jeff and tell him she wanted to pray with him...Then fell back to sleep during...At least the prayer was comforting..

Be well and enjoy the days.. I guess we will be having more storms after 11 tonight.. (we just picked up all the limbs from the storms the othert night)

Hi Everyone,
Just stopping a few minutes to say "hi" & let you know that I am doing..... Each day has its set of challanges ,& we are trying to get a routine going again.I have been caring for the twins, & then when home, I am resting. & my home is a real mess. I miss our Nick so much.He was 'our boy". DH is back to work. Yesturday I drove Nick's car for the first time & it tore my heart up.He took such pride in it.We have a few more answers to some of the things that were tormenting his mind, but will never know why he chose to do what he did.  My faith is strong, but my heart hurts , Nick didn't leave a note, he didn't think, he is soooo missed.
His step-dad has injured his neck& shoulder & ended up in the ER. Wed. He will probably be having neck surgery soon. The discs are bone on bone, & he has degenerative arthritis in them. They both have just gotten back to work, & don't need this too.Keep Tony & Amy in your prayers please.
Today Penny & Mike are starting their move to Owensboro,Ky. He starts his classes on the 20th, so they are trying to get things settled there. She & the kids will be staying with my MIl in Indy till June 12th. to finish out her job.
Today I plan to get a few loads of laundry done, & try to tackle my living room( unless I run away to Goodwill.Retail Therepy).I am trying to redo one thing at a time. I got out & took a walk yesturday, it was so nice outside& am going to try again today.I am missing the surf in Hawaii !!

Tracy, you all are in my prayers. Know that God is with you thru it all, & I am, in thought- call me.
Sherri- enjoy "girl time" with your grandaughter. 5 is such a fun age to begin!

To all of the newbies,pre-opts, & post ops- keep on keeping on, take it one sip, one day at a time. You can do it!! This is the best thing you will do for yourself, getting healthy & able to do more than you ever thought.
Sending(((((((((((((( big hugs)))))))))))) to you all,
  (((BIG HUGS)))
