Hi everyone,

Boy I have missed ya all so much!!!!

I have been working like crazy and been transferred for a bit at my job, to another store! Still doing some training and finishing up some more management classes!!!! Soon, I hope to be all caught up and on track- I will be getting a break though-

I am having surgery in the morning! I worked days today and am off for probably at least 2 weeks they say! I am hoping NOT that long, but only time can tell! I took a big fall about 6 years ago and broke my arm and had a plate and 10 pins put in, am having some nerve issues and some scar tissue build up so they are removing the hardware tomorrow and hoping that this will ease some of the discomfort and tingling, numbness that I have been experiencing lately!!!

I also transferred to DR> MATTAR this week- I saw him Tuesday- I was pleased with the outome! I saw my old dietician from Community there, I was shocked- Sara- anyway am having my labs done and everything checked up on from him and also having another CATSCAN done- he believes that I have another hernia, I am hoping that is NOT the case- I have had enough surgeries and am sure that my bosses would not be ready for yet another medical absence- BUT they have been super and have been understanding thus far---- after losing my job the last time with my eye surgeries I am a bit stressed over these issues! LOL!

Anyway- wanted to say hello to everyone- have been trying to play catch up- but I have miised so much!

It was great seeing Ellen back from her HAWAII trip! I have been thinking of ya! Love ya!

I will be home for a bit and have some free time if anyone wants to chat and catch up, lol!

I wish I was able to make the CHICAGO trip with ya all, but being off for medical and needing to finish up my training, has to come first, job security ya know! Finances wouldn't have allowed me to go anyway now with the medical need, ah well, everything for a reason! I was looking forward to going to HOLIDAY WORLD as well, but that would be very limited activity, so maybe next year!

Hope to see ya soon at some type of gathering- I miss ya!!!!

Sherri, how is it going for you any news!!!! I haven't had a chance to catch up on the readings, just been looking down the title page, thus far! I have missed MANY PAGES, it looks like!!! Oh well- I have a few days to catch up!!!

I am here- just chillin out tonight! It feels so weird NOT being on the go and having to manuevre things around! I have enjoyed my family time tonight with my son tonight though!

I am a little anxious about the unknown, but I always am!

I am so going to miss slumbering with you and SHANNA , I was SSSSOOOO looking forward to it- next time!!!!

You girls have a blast and have some FUN for me, too, k?

where r u having surgery? When will you get home? I am so glad you went to Dr. Mattar. I love him soooo much and so will you. He is a brilliant man! my last visit he started a file on my scarring and panni issues for the future! I AM SORRY i didn't return your call but work for me is going so much better, a little less stressful for now but that comes in cycles, ya know.hopefully a raise will be coming in the future. he started our summer bonus program, too.Last week was 8 hours overtime for me so the $$$$$$$$ is pretty good right now.WE are going to the track tommorrow for the Clarian day w/ Panther Racing. I am super duper excited! picked up our official passes yesterday. So official looking and overeating. I miss you. Next week I work nights and Sherri mentioned Lunch, Maybe you could join us. Have a great night and get some sleep.

Glad to hear that work is going better for ya! I know all about how hectic and crazy and back stabbing the restaurant business can be!!! Glad to hear that you are getting some extra hours and your spirits are sounding better! It sucks when you are feeling so down, been there, done that!!!

My surgery is at the Ortho Indy hospital on the Northwest side!!! I have to be there @ 10 surgery @ noon! I am hoping to be home around 6ish!!!

I am so glad to see that you are continuing to post and come for continued support from all of your OH family and friends! I know that it is a tough place and that some days seem so unbearable- but reading some of your posts have seen some brighter days and that in itself is a positive, hope those brighter days keep coming and that you are ble to have a small piece of smiles laughter and sunshine each day!!! Hugz

I am so NOT looking forward to the surgery aspect of it all BUT do need to feel better and have the movement issues resolved so that I can continue to move forward and get things back on track totally with my journey!

I hope to be on here more often in the next few weeks at least while I am off! I wish that I could do it everyday but I open and close and the close and open and some days I sleep until the VERY last minut possible!!! I have NEVER been an early riser- how you and SHERRI do the 3, 4, 5 a.m. thing-- UUGGHH!!! I swear if it wasn't for my son I would volunteer for ALL evevings, I wouldn't get home till 2ish sometimes 2;30 and then have to unwind, but my schedule now has me getting in at this time and then somedays returning by 8! I am so used to the MON-Fri school schedule that I had, but am fortunate to have a job and look forward to keeping it and getting back as soon as possible!!!

I was happy to have the chance to help you and no more thanks is needed! Knowing how much it meant to you and the fact that we could all come together and offer you the extra support that you needed during such tragic cir****tances was enough for me! I did not do this alone, there was lots of volunteers and supporters there for you and your family! We were a team and our OH family came together! That in itself was so rewarding- both to see and be a part of! The only wish would be that it would have happened for other reasons!!! Only God knows, and as long as you know that I/we are always going to be here no matter how tough the days ahead may be- we are your extra support, for wls and any other reason that you may need- support or sunshiney smiley days- we care!!!!

It's so nice to see you post!! I'm sorry it has to be because of a surgery...but...I do understand when you are looking forward to having surgery done so that things can hopefully get better! My surgery is scheduled for june 9th at St. V's. Dr. Bergman & Dr. Gupta will be working on it together to get the abdominal wall closed up. I'm not looking forward to the pain, but that's what they have pain meds for, right?

If you can meet us on the southside for lunch one day, that'd be great. I'll see what day would be good with Gail's schedule and I'll post it on here.
