I am DONE!!

The trial is over, and I'm done with jury duty.  We got done at 6:30 this evening.

I can now tell you it was a trial on cocaine trafficking and conspiracy.  I feel good about the outcome.  I've helped to remove one more drug trafficker off our streets.

Whew - now I can try to revert back to my normal routine!!

Glad to have you back in full !!!!  Jury duty for me was not what I wanted to do, I've only been called up once and it was an all day event, thankfully I knew the defendant from high school and I didn't like him very much (he was a thief) and guess what he was up for ????  Yep you guessed it theft.  Of course the prosecutor wanted me on the jury but the defense let me go after a few questions, lol.  I know it's our duty but.........

I must have one of those faces - I've been summoned twice, and both times been picked to serve on the jury.

This time was US District Court.  This was way more interesting than Marion County, I'll tell you that!

...complete with armed US Marshals in the courtroom for the protection of the Judge and jury....
