Scheduling surgery-worried

So Heather and I played phone tag for a few days trying to get my surgery scheduled, and now she's not returning my call at all. They were scheduling for the week of June 8th, but I asked if July 1st was possible.  I've left her a few messages and haven't receive any kind of response. I hate to "bug" her, but at the same time, want to get this scheduled. What should I do?

Call away!!!  You have to stand up for yourself and make sure it gets done.  I would bug her anyway!

I agree, they work for you. Call her back. I'd think it wouldn't be any trouble to schedule you further out, as long as your surgeon isn't on vacation or anything.

Dr. Gupta and Dr. Bergman are working together on a surgery on me. It was scheduled June 9th. Heather never did call me with the date. Fortunately, Dr. Bergman's nurse called me with it but Heather didn't know that. Instead, Heather dropped a form letter in the mail and I got it yesterday. Maybe it'll be in your mailbox today.
