Good morning all!

I am saddened by the news of Tracy's nephew. It is so sad that so many of our young people have gone on to be with God. I really feel for his kids.

I had asked my pcp to check my labs from Friday and see if all were ok. I was more concerned over the white count than anything since these same surgeons have postponed surgery for me before because my white count was low. It was a whopping 5.0! That is excellent for me! Tiffany told me that she'd be sure to post updates on me while I'm at St. V's. I probably won't be bringing my laptop with me since I'm going to be in there that long because of pain. Once the pain is under control enough for me to type, I'll probably be going home.

Man, I'd like to know how long it is going to take for my body to recoup from the yardwork on Saturday! I am still walking around very slowly and have to sit gingerly. The back of my legs seems to be what is hurting the most. I tried to see if I have any bruises back there but there aren't any as far as I could tell.

I talked with Ellen & Gail over the past couple days and they have both asked me to tell everyone hi. So..

We had dinner with Brenda & Floyd last night. They are keeping busy with all their home remodeling projects. Yes..that is with a plural! They are going to feel like they are living in a totally different house by the time they are done. I can't wait to see it all.

Did you guys check out the thread for Holiday World? This will be our 2nd annual one. Jacque gets us wonderful discounts on Holiday World, Hotels, and eating so please plan to come! This is open to everyone..pre-op, post-o***** surgery at all! It is also open to your family to join you! This is the weekend before my surgery so I'm looking forward to getting the pre-op jitters taken care of by seeing my friends and getting some fresh air & great exercise (walking).

Hi gang, how are you all today? I was going to get up at 5am when the alarm went off, but I ended up hitting the snooze until 6:30. Oh well. I'm up and dressed now.

This week is a stressful one for me. The RSA (Rehabilitation Services Administration  - the feds basically in Rehab) are visiting our VR office tomorrow. I have been working my behind off to have all my ducks in a row. Nothing was really in bad shape, I'm just afraid of being the weakest link.

Tonight is another double for me between both jobs. I wouldn't mind playing hooky today. LOL. But alas, mama gotta bring home the bacon.

My boys talked me into going camping this summer last night. They both wanted to. I voted for the Turkey Run Inn, but I was in the minority. So I agreed. Good gracious, what have I gotten myself in to??? I'm a city girl.

Good morning all!

I am up and going this morning.  I have all sorts of things to do today.  I have to get the stuff ready for group tonight, go to the store, get with my sisters about the arrangements and make plans for the weekend with the kids. 

I am hoping Brandi comes by so we can go walk again today.  I have been doing so much better since we walk every day together.  I dont know if its the walks or if its the talks.  Both are so very good for me. 

Thanks for all your prayers for my family.  I am so grateful for all of you.

Good morning all. It has been a busy few days. We are planning on going to downtown Detroit this morning for the girls to get to see the sights down there. And then after that, we will be going to Greenfield Village.....home of Henry Ford. That is a wonderful exibit. Then it is on our way home in the morning. It was a quick trip, but well worth the time to spend with my sister. We have been able to discuss many things in regards to my mother, so that has put my mind at ease.  Will post more updates once we get back home.

Well..I am up...bleery eyed but awake!  I spent all day yesterday running around central Indiana. Appt with attorney in am in Indy...on to Muncie for mom's for belated mom day lunch...down to Franklin for Aubrey Dr appt...then to greenwood for a little shopping and dinner with Aubrey and Braedyn. He hated all of it but mom had not seen him since Christmas and he has changed so much since then! It was a good but exhausting day all in all!  Hope the week goes quickly! Support group tonight for me as well Tracy! Unfortunately in Louisville instead of up there! But Lisa and Neil are coming to meet everyone so this should be a hoot! Have a great day all!

Same ol, Same ol here again today...just let the dogs out for the morning walk and saw that it was BEAUTIFUL out!!!
Working on insurance paperwork today and gonna have hubby bring me to Wabash Support Group tonight..that's about it here today...
Tracy....I'm praying for you and your family...I'm glad that Brandi is there so close for you.

Tracy.. I am so sorry to hear about your nephew.  I will keep your family in my prayers. 

This pregnancy is kicking me in the butt.  I stay so tired....I slept for 10 yr last night and I am still exhausted.  Don't know what to do... could it be a vitamin problem?  Dr. E office's was so rude about my pg that I don't really want to call them.  Maybe I will have my pcp run some labs. 

Hate to run but work is calling.....

 

I would say the exhaustion is normal for the first trimester!  But I still think you should have your OB or PCP run a set of the yearly labs just to see where you are starting your pregnancy at.  Even though I know Dr. E's nurse wasn't very helpful - they should still be able to give you a list of the routine labs.  And I know from my own experience that she doesn't run all things through Dr. E - so there are times she told me stuff and when I later talked to Dr. E he didn't know anything about it - when I assumed talking to her that the did.  So keep trying, sometimes it is hard to get past the gatekeeper.

And if for some reason you can't get the lab stuff from Dr. E's office, your PCP can call and they can get them from his office.
