Happy Mothers Day!!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU WONDERFUL LADIES !!!!!!!!

I'm going to visit my mother and mother-in-law today, and then I'm going to come home and fix a well deserved steak and potato on the grill for my wonderful wife.  She has been such a trooper through these past few weeks, and is such a great mother.  And I'm sure you all are too !!!!!  Well I better go I'm revising my resume, ugh, really on the job hunt right now !!!!!  Take care everyone, safe travels, and enjoy whatever this day may bring each one of us !!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day, ladies.

I won't get to see my Mother today. She lives back home in Nebraska. I'm going to call her in a bit and just talk for a while.

My sisters and I got her a digital picture frame and put all kinds of pictures of the family on it. I think she's really going to like it. We got her a computer last year after listening to her say for many years that she didn't want anything to do with them. She finally admitted that she thought they were a fad and realized she was wrong. :)

I don't know how many more years I will have with her. She's only 65 but she's had stage 4 cancer (complete remission!) as well as three brain aneurysms requiring two surgeries. It's taken a lot out of her but she's still tough. We'll be driving back to see her over memorial day.

My boys are doing all of the delivery of Mother's Day cards and gifts today...it just takes so much outta me...
Soooooooo...right now...I'm getting something that I rarely get!!!!
Peace and quiet and the tv all to myself!!! WhoooooooooooooHAAAAAAAAA!!!
Hubby was glad that I couldn't go b/c I guess he and my mother are on a secret mission to get me something really special for Mommy's day????  I already got a gorgeous planter for my front porch....soooooooooo im tryin to figure out all of their sneakin' around...
