What did you get.......

I got a beautiful card from Tiffany, Rod, Shellie, and James with a wonderful bead bracelet in it that goes with a necklace & earrings that Tiff gave me a few months ago.

I got a wonderful handmade 'book' from all the grandkids where each one of the color'ed a page of.

I have both cards posted here at work!

I got 2 geraniums, 1 petunia, and 1 sage plant...and a large bag of potting soil. I had pots I wanted to put 'something' in and Tiff took care of that for me! Yay!

And...even better...Tiffany & them had Bill & I over for dinner so we not only ate well (and I didn't do a thing to help clean-up afterwards), but I got to have some Mamaw time with the grandkids & Mom time with the girls. It was a very good day for me!

I got a beautiful leather journal and a handmade wood inkpen (my SIL) from my daughter and my son took me to lunch. I have beautiful children. Jana

I got two beautiful handmade cards from my children.  A MommyBracelet with the kids names and birthstones, a new Chamilia bead, and supper on the grill.  And a much needed nap.

I got a beautiful white diamond/ruby ring (my fav stone!), a dozen red roses and a card from my husband.  2 potted plants with handmade cards from my boys and a beautiful well written letter/card from my daughter that was taped to the bathroom mirror for me to read when I work up to get ready for work.  Loved it even though I had to work and we were busier than snot!

I got really spoiled yesterday!  I was woke up with a present and cards that Luci made for me.  The present was a marigold planted in a laundry detergent cap that they planted at school.  She also made me a card and drew me several pictures.  She threw in her "Chick with Brains" keychain too.  (Glad she thinks I have brains.  Sometimes I wonder!)

Then we had breakfast which was a sugar free carrot cake that she and Troy baked on Saturday while I was at a women's prison ministry.  It was wonderful!

We went to church where I got a lovely potted plant (all the mother's got one) then lunch with my parents at Los Panchos where they handed out a long stemmed rose to all the mothers.

We then met Troy's mom, grandmother and sister at the park for a nice day in the sun.  Took a stroll around the park with Luci and shot a little bastketball.

When we got home last night, Troy got a tub out and proceded to give me a pedicure!!!  It was WONDERFUL!  He painted my toenails and everything. 

Then when he finished Luci gave me a back massage!  She did it for over 30 minutes.  I must say, by the time Luci's bedtime rolled around I was mush. 

I am such a spoiled brat!

Whoops!   I forgot to add what Troy calls my "real" gift... season tickets to the broadway series at the Riverpark Center in Owensboro.  He got us fantastic seats in the balcony that did belong to one of our friends.  She's moving to Princeton this summer so she didn't renew her seats.  Troy got them for us.  I can't believe it!  People have been waiting for years for Kim to give up her seats and now they belong to us!  They really are the best seats in the house.  Three of the five shows for the season are The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast and a Cirque de Sole type show.  The other two shows haven't been scheduled yet.  They start this fall.
