Popcorn?
NOOOOOO! Please don't. you do not want anything to get stuck in your incisions. I love my popcorn, don't get me wrong, I was atleast 3 months out before I even attempted it. When I do indulge in it, get the mini 100 calorie bags...I LIKE THE KETTLE CORN FLAVOR. Will keep you in check.

I MY RNY!
First of all, Happy Birthday!
About popcorn - the nutritionist will tell you no way. I was told I couldn't have it till 6 months out.
However - that being said - we went to the movies about 5 or 6 weeks out. I had a handful of popcorn. I chewed it really well - only put one kernel at a time in my mouth. I'm still here to talk about it! LOL
I am 5 months out, and usually eat some fat free popcorn 2-3 times per week - one of the 100 calorie snack bags. I don't have a problem with it. I figure if I can eat corn (the original "you don't eat it, you rent it" veggie) then there's no reason I can't eat popcorn.

****SO, instead of eating the popcorn --->>>like I really wanted to, I did something else.
My husband, Duane (who had the surgery 2 weeks after I did) said, "I think you are wanting to eat because you are home and you are bored, there are other things we can do" ......
Well, we went to the gym and worked out! Took my mind of my desire to eat something that I really knew was not a good choice!
Thanks everyone!!

That's great. Way to go, putting your hands to work doing something else is a great way to avoid eating. Working out, even better!
And as for the popcorn, I just started trying it and I'm almost 5 months out.
