Ellen called me the other day. They finally have the whole tombstone thing worked out for Nick. They had a wonderful time on their trip..but hit the land of Indiana with their feet running. Ellen has been busy working in her friend's flower shop. There were 3 funerals last week that they had to do the arrangements for. I'm sure that was very hard emotionally for Ellen but she was determined to get through it. Even more joyous occasions like weddings, prom, and graduations are going to be hard on her because of the memories of what was and the hopes of what should had been.

I asked her how she was doing and she said terrible. But...I thought she was doing much better than pre-Hawaii. I think it all has had a chance to sink in some now.

Please continue keeping Ellen and her hubby Dana & their kids & grandkids in your prayers. It's been so hard on them. Amy, Nick's mom, is now also facing some medical issues. They shouldn't been life altering..but at this time, something she does not need.
