Hi All

It's been a while since I've been on the board and I had to miss the last clothing exchange because I was out of town.  That's the first one I've missed in a long time and I feel bereft!
I didn't get to visit with Gail on the ride there or see any of your beautiful faces.

I've been trying to catch up on all the posts, but I'm sure I've missed a lot.  We are supposed to get high speed internet at our house on May 13th (finally!!! ), so I won't have to wait until I can find time at work to hop on the board.  Of course, that means having to beat my husband and son to the computer!!   We are supposed to get a wireless modem though, so maybe the old laptop my niece sold me will work too.

For those of you having difficulties, I hope things get better soon.  To the newbies, welcome to the loser's bench, it's a heck of a ride.  To the pre-ops, hang in there, your turn will come soon.  And to all my friends, I've missed seeing and talking to you.  I hope to see you all again soon.

They finally got us hooked up, but I've been dealing with sick kids ever since.  So I haven't had time to get online until today.

I know what you mean about having to fight to get on the computer though.  Comcast gave us a wireless router and once I have it set up the laptop my niece sold me should work.  Then I'll only have to fight to get it back!

So good to see you on here! I missed you at the exchange! There were so many people that weren't able to make it for one reason or another. I hope to see all of at the next one (and hope I can make it too..lol!).

Hi Sherri,

I really missed seeing everyone at the exchange.  Yes I'm off every other Friday (the 15th was the most recent).  My kids have been sick for a couple of weeks and we've been at the ER with Rebecca twice.  They've tested both kids for the various types of flu and both tested negative (thank goodness), but they don't know what virus they do have (both have been running fevers of 102+).  Brian has missed all of last week and I'm not sure if either will be going back tomorrow.  It just depends on whether they stay fever free today.

Maybe we can get together for lunch one day soon.  I may take a couple of days off once the kids get well, just so I can rest!
