Saturday...

Good morning all!

I'm trying to convince myself to go try to weed-out my flower beds in front of the house. The weeds shouldn't be too deep rooted for these flower beds and with all the rain we've had, the soil should want to release them pretty quick I would think. I'd like to be able to get my herb seeds planted. I have some tomato, bell pepper, and zuccini plants to go in the ground too but not sure if that will happen today or tomorrow. I'm having James (a 17 yr old friend of the family) come over and do them.

I weeded last night and the roots were very loose because of the rain. Didn't take too long. Not much going on here at all. Need to go to the grocery, ugh i hate going there. Have a good day everyone!

Meeting the girls and Melissa at the beauty shop.. they are getting an updo for the wedding they are flower girls in today. They are going to be so adoreable!! (Of course, look at their mommy and grandma's).  I have heard rumors though that this was going to be like.. Big Fat Greek Wedding... (wish I had seen that movie!)

Hi all, not much going on for me today.  Going to shop for mother's day gifts.  And we need to weed as well, don't think all the bending over is good for me quite yet so my wife (Angie) will prolly get that lovely chore.  We have some flower beds, and herb garden, and a 30'x30' vegetable garden that keeps us rather busy.  We have two rows of onions, two rows of pole beans, and five rows of bush beans out already and before all that rain a couple weeks ago and their doing great, the pole beans are about 2-3" tall already and the bush beans are just sprouting, the onions are supposed to be vidalia but I question that, we'll see I hope so, I love a good sweet onion, we will also put out cucumbers, zucchini, green peppers, and alot of tomato's.  We can our beans and make homemade salsa and can it too.  Well I better get at it.  Take care all and have a great day !!!!!

I have been doing tons of laundry today and sorting things.  I am trying to get some things together for a rummage sale.  I need to get some extra cash for the Chicago trip.  I was really hoping to have a job by now.  But, all is well.  We are surviving.

I am ready for the dang Sun to shine and for it to warm up.  I am freezing!!!!

Well Good Morning (this is my second morning)....I've already been up and taken my nap.
I'm looking out the window to my little world and see cloudiness here.....

I hope the rain holds out until Aaron and Dakota get back from the gun show, b/c Aaron's spose to cook tbones over the fire for Mother's Day b/4 it starts to rain...

Dakota has to work tonite so Aaron's spose to take me back to wallyworld so i can exchange those stupid bras my mom had me buy....

I didn't wanna go to the hospital looking like a bum... so I wanted to get new bras, panties and slippers yesterday when we went....I let my mother talk me into getting this expensive bras and when I got home I started to think...I'm spose to have my WLS about 6 wks after my heart surgery why would i wanna pay $22 bucks per bra @ walmart...good time of day!!!
so im gonna exhange them for a least costlier version today....
aaron's just THRILLED about having to take me to exchange bras....hahahah!!!

Dakota planted our little garden the other night....we're having fits tryin to keep the stupid groundhogs outta it...Dakota had to get a bunny last night that was eating up our plants....the groundhog.....still eludes demise from the two "great white hunters" harr harr harr!!!
i don'****ch that part b/c i can imagine...both of them with their guns...one following the other...the one in the lead says..."be berry berry qwiet...wher hunting gwoundhawgs" hahah!!!  thank goodness our little "village" is in the country and noone thinks my boys are a little "strange" here...they know it's so, yet don't call the authorities to have 'em dragged away in little white jackets!!! LOL

Busy day for me.  Bathed and clipped the dog.  Edged and mowed the yard.  Changed the bedding and did laundry.  Ran errands.  Now getting ready to finish cleaning the downstairs.
OMG!  Where did this energy come from.  Could it be because Darrell has been hunting and not underfoot?

Linda - rent the movie - scratch that - BUY the movie.  Once you see it, you will watch it over and over again.  

Good Saturday All~

We've been pretty busy here in Muncietown.  Lots remodeling going on here.  We are putting in a wood floor in the kitchen/dining area and eventually our laundry area.  Lots of work, but it's looking great so far!  
Tomorrow I will be walking through graduation ceremonies in Indianapolis.  It's my gift to my mother.  I was finished with school in Dec., got a job and all that, but she said it would make her proud.  Geesh!  Well....it is Mother's Day !  So, our cousin from Georgia is even coming up for it--she and my mom are more like sisters than anything, so I am happy to be able to see her!
Linda Kay....sweetie, you've got to see MBFGW!  It's got to be one of my all time faves!  Jamie...your garden sounds wonderful....I love to make homemade salsa...it's just the best.  I'm sure you could definitely bring some of that to the next clothing exchange.  Hint hint....
Well friends, I've got to get going.  We are going to Outback Steakhouse this evening to celebrate my hubby's bday.   Have a great rest of the weekend!
