Good afternoon everyone
Thought I would drop by and let all of you know how Emil and I are doing. Emil just had a colonoscopy this morning and everything was good. No polyps, nothing. Doc said he didn't have to come back for 5 years. Praise God, the last one he had didn't look so good.
I am doing better, still dealing with the ulcers. Getting a little more protien down but not all I need yet. At least I'm not throwing up like I was.
I have changed my lunch schedule around at work, because of all the things I have to take prior to eating. I am using this time to have quiet time. I have found a good Bible Study guide to go through and read and reflect on. It is called "Made Over". It's all about being made over from the inside out. WLS changes us from the outside, but in order to live with new guidelines and and new direction, we have to be changed from the inside out. I for one can only do that with God's help. My prayer is that if you are struggling with your surgery, please know that we have all been there and I know that I have to change, my mind, my heart and my spirit. I know that there is nothing that comes our way that God doesn't all ready know about. I will continue to reach out to Him and follow my heart. May all you, find that one thing that will change you from the inside out.

So good to seeing you post! I'm glad things are getting better for you. I don't know why some of us have the luck of the draw to have to deal with these issues from the get-go but I suppose so we can let others know that yes, it happens and yes, you can get through it.
I'm glad all went well with E's colonoscopy too. At least it's good drugs.

Im happy to see you post and im glad things are getting better for you .I no its true the surgery changes the outside the one thing i found to change me from the inside is i learn how much i have been blessed in my life,i feel it keeps me true.Thats gret about Emils test.Take care of each other and i miss you guys.
