And I am getting good at them so, I am officially a clutz. I've been off here for a few days because Thurs morning when I went out to let the dogs in, I lost my footing out back and fell face (nose) first onto a concrete stepping stone. You know how they say you know the moment you break your nose? It's true. I heard it snap and when I went to stand blood just gushed. So, I woke the house hold and had my son drive me to the ER. I have broken my nose and have a large laceration on the outside of my nose. This is going to leave a nasty scar but they called in a plastic surgeon to stitch me up so, it may not be horrible. I just couldn't believe that I had done it. So, I've been off work for a few days and have an appt on Monday (tomorrow) with the ear, nose and throat guy that stitched me up. I look like Mike Tyson and now know what being a prize fighter feels like. I do want to go on record as saying I do not like Mr Tyson, even if I look like him. LOL

I just pray the scarring isn't that bad. I'll post pics when I can.

Johnna I have had my nose broken five times and its very painful. The good news is though.......its a quick heal!! Its not like most bones and heals in a couple weeks.

ouch! i am so sorry you hurt yourself babydoll....but i will tell ya i am queen of scars...mine looked really nasty on my face and almost 4 months later...it looks amazing....so chin up....no worries about the scar....suggestion...keep sunscreen on...with summer coming that sun will make it show more....sending big hugs and healing vibes your way

Johnna I hope you heal up nicely and its all behind you in no time. My nose is sore just thinking about it. My oldest Jessi has had her nose broken 5 times by her siblings! LOL Get better soon and take care sweetie!
