Good morning everyone!

It's so nice to see some of the scarcely seen people posting (Kimmy!) and all the new people's posts...and guys posting (Jamie!). I think Pam's experiences is bringing to light just how bad of shape our bodies can get in pre-op...and us not even know it. I'm sure Pam has been experiencing getting tired easy & running out of breath with the least little bit of exertion. And I'm sure she blamed her weight for all of it. I imagine that is part of it but Pam, you get your ticker fixed up and then have your WLS and you will be wanting to run the mini next year!

I hope everyone has a good day today. It's just going to be another lazy day for me. I might go outside and pull the weeds out of my herb beds but that'll be about it.

Have a terrific day!

Good Morning everyone! It's gonna be a busy one for me. We are heading out to church in about an hour. Then to the grocery store. I'm running low on everything and my mother in law is coming down today to stay a week with us (to watch the kids while I orient to my new job). Gotta get some food in the house that she'll eat. THEN it is home to assemble the new swing set for the boys. My husband and I spent 3 1/2 hrs yesterday separating and sorting all the hardware, pieces, and wood. The wood pieces were not labeled, so you had to measure each piece to figure out what it was. What a chore. But it will give us a huge leg up on assembly today.

My brother in law the engineer is bringing my mil down, so he will be a huge help to assemble the swing set. Not sure I could do it myself. And my husband doesn't know the difference between a straight head and phillips head screwdriver, so he isn't any help.

Wish us luck, I'll post a pic of the set once it's done. Have a great Sunday everyone.

Good morning all!

I had a pretty good day yesterday.  I jogged for the first time in 26 years!  I had a campfire in my back yard  with Brandi and the kids last night.  I walked nature trails with the dogs and kids.  We walked a total of 5 miles yesterday.  I had so much fun and the surprise for me was that I am only a bit sore this morning in my legs.  I thought I would be really sore and hurting to walk but Im not.  So all the hills and the jogging were good for me.

I am looking forward to today.  We are having a comedian at church tonight that I adore.  He is so much fun.  Frankie is coming over to go with us!  I am taking a comedian to see a comedian  LOL !  So, any of you that want to come are invited to join us.   6PM at Hanfield UM Church just outside of Marion.

Huge hugs and hope you all have a wonderful day!

Not much planned for here today.  I'll be doing laundry and cleaning up.  I plan to make a grocery run.  We did go to Trader Joe's yesterday.  I forgot how much I love that place!  They have baby sweet potatoes - just the right size to cook for me!  Anyway, I need to pick up stuff for the coming week.  I think I'll make a big pot of my extra protein chili for dinner and for lunches this week.

As I tidy up, I'm going to declutter some things - we're having a fundraiser rummage sale at work on the 15th, so I'm going to take in some things that I don't need, want, or love anymore to make room for other stuff!!

Hope everyone is doing well (and you too Pammie!).

Choose to make it a great day!!

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Sunday!!

Today is gonna be a lazy day for me!  I'm gonna wash up a few dishes (which I hardly ever do--my sister and neice-the normal dish washers- are gonna flip!).  Anyway, this past week was my first week back to work and I'm beat! So, today its PJ's all day for me!  I'm gonna do some reading and probly go for a walk, but nothing more than that!

Pam, you are such a sweetheart and such a good person.  Be strong and things will work out for you!  Let us know if you need anything!

TRACY--OMG!!!  I am SO happy for you and proud of you! JOGGING!?  Who'd a thunk it??? Congrats! You are such an inspiration!

Good Afternoon everyone,  I'm taking it easy today like I have the last few days. I look like I wa**** by a mac truck but, besides the nose, I am doing ok. Staying heavily medicaided so that helps. Bill and the kids are getting the rooms arranged here so my son and his girlfriend can have their own room. They've been sleeping on the couch hide-a-bed since they've been here and since they are going to stay awhile we are closing a room off to make them their own room. I am usually the supervisor when they have these projects but today, I'm not even doing that. My bed and tv remote are keeping me good company. I just hope when I go to the doc tomorrow that he says I don't have to have surgery to fix my honker. Although the catscan did say I had cronic sinuitis so maybe they can scrap some of that out when the fix the fracture.

So, having a lazy day here. Hope everyone has a good day.
Be Well  : )
