Thursday morning...

I certainly hope so, because I really wanted to go to this one. I know there are so many of you all going, and it was going to be a fun and exciting weekend for ALL of us to get together for a weekend!  I just wish that I had the $$$ so I could go to this one.  It would be so worth it! Keeping my fingers crossed for another conference close by soon! 

Oh Sherri - that's something I've always wanted to do - take a train ride!  How fun is that! 

Good Morning Girlies!!!

Off to yet another busy day at the salon today.  Plainfield High School's prom is tomorrow nite and so we will get swamped yet again today with the girls trying to get ready.  Hate the extra work hours but I rather do like making the money,lol.

My pouch isn't liking me lately the last two days, have tried a couple of new things and it just growls at me.  I am finding that morning times are my hardest because it seems I am more restricted then.  Anyone else?  I am just now 2 weeks out today so still on pureeds for 2 more weeks. 

Anyway, need to go get dressed so we can get out of here early.

Sabrena, try starting your day with a cup of something hot to drink. If there is swelling over night in your pouch, this will help the swelling go down and then hopefully your pouch won't be so grumpy. It worked wonders for me.

My pouch hasn't been feeling very well either. Lots of abdominal pain going on for me the past few days. I had backed off of my prevacid (couldn't afford to get the prescription filled while not working) and I think I'm paying for it. My husband made me call in the refill yesterday and I'll pick it up today.

Take it easy today while you work.

Yea for me...HA! I have to drive to Columbus and pick up aunt Charlotte at 3:30 to take her to her sons funeral... Rons cousin.. he was in his 70's with Parkinsons... (Aunt Charlotte is 95 in June). Last weekend it was Uncle Ben.. ( same side of family) and I am praying like mad my siter isnt next.. or to quickly...she has been given 3-4 weeks. These things come in 3's so I am hopeing that the church lady the other day was the 2nd and Jim was the 3rd and Im off the hook for a while...

Other than that... well... I am eatting one time a day and grabbing a pc of cheese or crackers or something inbetween if I think about it or remind myself to...

Good morning all!

I had a really great time last night at my birthday party with my friends and family.  We had so many laughs and good times.  It was good for me!  I will put some pictures on my profile if any of you wanna see them.  The cameras were banned after dark!  LOL  Things got a little too silly and I didnt want anything popping up on the web of me dancing and singing!  I did a fashion show of sorts and put on my "hospital" outfit from the morning of my surgery, then my "cruise away" outfit... and my wedding dress .... and then I even put on my original wedding dress from 1984!  It wouldnt zip yet but it I got it on!!!  We were all laughing and in shock! 

My Dad gave me a minature chihuahua puppy of his for a birthday gift, but somehow when Chaz came over the other day.... She became HIS puppy and so now little Lacy is now my granddogger instead.  LOL  I still love her and see her all the time.  Chaz deserves happiness after all he has done for this great country.  So, I am ok with it.  I am posting her picture with me so you can all see how cute she is!

I hope you all have a great day today!  I plan to clean up the after party mess and prepare for some things I have to do tomorrow.
