Does anyone know how the Biggest Loser shows figures up the percentage of weight loss for each person?

I believe they take the total amount of weight lost and divide it by their current weight. I could be wrong, but that's what I think.

My husband thought the same thing but the figures do not seem to be working out to match what they had????

Did you try dividing the weight loss by last weeks weight? I don't remember any of the weights from last nights show so I can't try it out.  If you can give me some of the weights and percentages I can try to figure it out.

I can't remember any of the weights either.  I'll have to try again next week to get some figures written down.  Thanks though!

Ok lets do some math.
You weigh 230 lbs.
1% 0f 230 lbs is 2.3 lbs
.01x230
So every 2.3 lbs is a percent.  4.6 lbs is 2% 6.9 lbs is 3%
Easy way to tell how close they need to be.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
