slim fast

I am having trouble finding slim fast low carb. Seems like the stores carry the slim fast optima. I am not sure of the differance between the two. Is O.K. to use the slim fast optima for protein? Wendy

I'd check the labels and see how well it stacks up. Some products say 'high in protein' but they may only have 2-3 grams per serving. I'd check the calories, carbs, fat, protein, and sugars.Stick with the one(s) that have the highest protein and lowest of everything else.

Wendy you will not want to you the Optima, its very high sugar.  Our walmart carries the low carb in the pharmacy area.

Wendy, I don't know where you live, but I have 3 cans of the chocolate slim fast low carb that I decided to try and didn't like. I'd be happy to give it to you. I found mine at Wal-Mart.

I asked the NUT at St V's about that.  She told me NOT to use the optima.  She says it is not really a good choice for anyone.... it is too high in sugar and has the wrong balance.  So, I hope this helps you some.
