The first WLS (pre, post, and curious along with spouses and support people) is tentatively scheduled.

Drat!! I won't be able to make that date. My DH & I work a festival, Harrodsburg Heritage Days, that weekend. I would try to bail, but he is the President of the association. He says that makes me the First Lady...LOL!!!

That is a bummer.  My husband is from Harrodsburg, but we never go to the Heritage days.  Depending on the response and input we will most likely have another one in June.  I can't wait to meet you.

You should come into town a bit early on Saturday and stop by the festival. We're mixing things up a bit this year and will have a mechanical bull, a bungi run...hopefully some fun stuff going on. DH & I run the annual baby-contest, kids pedal tractor pull and pet show so I stay pretty busy. I also help in the kitchen when I can and work with a couple other ladies on the silent auction. Needless to say I'm tired by the time its done.

I'll keep my eye out for the June date!! 

I'll be out of town from the 11-25 but I hope to be able to make the June one.

I am just trying to plan a get-together....nothing formal, nothing tied to a doctor, formal support group, or hospital where we can have some food, fun fellowship, and share our WLS experiences along with answer any questions that pre-op patients may have.  We would love to have you join us if possible.  Please ask any questions that you might.

Are you planning on surgery?  Which one?  I am post-op DS and I LOVE my DS!

I already had RNYLAP and i have lost 122 pounds!!!!!!!! I love it! I am so happy! I need to post new pictures

That is great!  As of this morning I am down a total of 110 since my journey began.  I have 40 pounds till goal.

DATE CHANGE!!!!!

Due to an accident that I was involved in I have to change the date of the first dinner in Bloomington.

I really hate having to postpone the date, but like I said, I had an accident that unfortunately has affected my face and I want to allow it time to heal before getting out and about.  I hope that everyone understands and will be able to meet us on June 6th.  I will post updated information as the time draws near.
