Unbelieveable Car Accident
St. V's hospital in Toledo, Ohio has a 4 story parking garage right beside the main entrance. A lady was in a parking space and had her car in reverse but she thought it was in
drive. She stepped on the gas pedal and flew backwards and went right through the concrete barrier and her car landed upside down on its roof in the drop off entrance 2 stories below.
It took emergency personnel 2 hrs to get her out of the vehicle.
It is unbelieveable to think that her car was able to knock out a concrete barrier that was as wide as a bariatric patient room and pretty darn thick also!!! The barrier is laying on the ground below and they are working on putting in a new one where her car plowed through.
The blessing in all of this was that we were told today she only received minor injuries. It's also a blessing that no one was hurt below on the ground because their are Park benches around for people to relax on and enjoy the beautiful courtyard.
The courtyard was anything but beautiful that day. This sounds like something you would only see in a movie, but it really did happen. There were TV crews everywhere wanting the bazaar story.

That is crazy. I have always feared doing something like that in those multi story parking garages.
