I received a letter in the mail today from the insurance company saying I was approved for a hospital stay of 2 days.  Does that mean my surgery, etc is approved too?

I haven't told anyone that im doing this.  I havent even told my family yet, because I figured it would fall through....So now im worried about telling them.....

I think that means you are approved.  When I got my approval letter it had the number of days approved on it as well.

My approval letter said that too.  I believe you are approved sister!!!  I would call them and find out for sure or even get ahold of your docs office.  They would know if its an approval letter for sure.

Congrats!

Huge hugs,

Jamie, sounds like you are approved. And as for telling your family, I was scared to death to tell my mom. She was and still is my biggest supporter. I was so worried that she'd be mad at me for deciding to do the surgery. I'm sure your family will be supportive too!
