Ever considered a flea collar ,lol....Just kidding. Can you take Benadryl ? Maybe that will help..I get a rash from nerves ,could that be it? Hope it goes away but if not i would be on the phone with the Dr. to get something for it. Hugs Val

Pam,
Have you checked yourself for ticks? Last weekend I was clawing at my neck like you're describing. It was horrible! The next day I had a horrible headache, sore throat and a slight fever (99.5). I found a deer tick on me Monday. I'm being treated for a form of Lymes Disease. Please check yourself over good. I hope it's not the same thing I have but it's better to be safe...
Smooches,
Jacqui
Gosh Jacqui those deer ticks can be bad. We live in the country and its tick season now! I need to buy the Frontline Plus for my doggies and kitty cats. I do not want them bringing them into the house. My son went out in the woods to look for mushrooms and came out with a tick on him. Those little deer ticks are so small, you could miss them.
Pam, if you have any hydracortisone that could help relieve the itching symptoms. You can buy the 1% creme in a tube at the drugstore. I use it for anything, rashes and cuts and sores. My doc recommended it for diaper rash for my kids when they were young and it worked.
Hope you get to feeling better soon. When it rains, it pours doesn't it honey?
LOL @ the itchy and *****y.

Have you been working out in the yard or went mushroom hunting at all?
To remove flees/ticks..put soap on the end of a cotton swab & soap up the critter very well. It'll come loose and stick onto the cotton...the soap suffocates it. (old wives tale is to use Avon's Skin So Soft on them to suffocate them).
Epson salt bath...(in case it's chiggers...old wives tale says that clear nail polish will kill them but never tried it)...
Calamine lotion....(in case it's poison ivy)...
Benadryl Creme...(in case it's an allergy)..
If none of these work, try not taking the vitamins/biotin and see if it clears up. Once it is all gone, add back only one of them at a time so you can find out which is the culprit. I haven't heard of anyone being allergic to them, but then, not too many people are to novacaine and steri-strips and I am to both.
Hope you get to feeling better!

i have a feeling of what it could be...
i had posted a thread a few days ago about biotin...
and someone on OH had said there could be a possiblity that i am allergic to zinc in the biotin...
so im not taking it right now and seeing if the rash gets better...
the rash started about the time i started biotin
so i will try to figure out by the process of elimination
i dont do shrooms and havent been in the woods or in the yard so i know its not ticks....
ive tried
bendryl creme and capsules
band aid brand itch relieve with aloe
thinking it could be fungal... atheletes foot creme
and even tried monostat..
none worked
i just went to the BR and looked in the mirror and have noticed that it looks really dry now... like its trying to dry out...
strange strange days these are
