Does anyone know where I can find..
Other than raisens, I haven't been able to find dried fruit without added sugar. I do dehydrate my own. I do apples. They do better if they are peeled and the peelings are dried down together. I sprinkle them with cinnamon & splenda before drying them..unless they are for Gail and then I only put cinnamon on them. I also have had good results with pineapple and so-so with blueberries. Banana's has ended up just too hard for me and melons & strawberries end up chewy and not that yummy tasting.
I got my dehydrator from Amazon (~$300). I just could get very good results out of the less expensive tray stacked kind of dehydrator. Mine has 9 shelves with the air blowing accross the shelves and the moisture out through the vents on the side instead of traveling through all of the trays like the stacking kind does. I can also set the temp on mine...it's not just either on or off like the stacking ones usually are.
Amazon MIGHT have some dehydrated fruit without added sugar. I've gotten apple crisps from them before that doesn't have any sugar.
