oT...fundraising letters...xpost

  Good Morning... On April 2 my 15 year old nephew Connor Whitesell was critically injured in a dirtbike accident in Bluffton Indiana..He suffered a C6 spinal injury and is currently a patient at Shepards Spinal Institute in Atlanta Georgia....I am currently beginning a fundraiser for him in the form of a benefit auction....In addition to local businesses, I will be approaching sports figures and organizations to ask for the donation of sports memorabilia and tickets for this auction........
Here's my question.....does anyone have a sample letter I could look at for ideas?  or any great suggestions to make this a great success?????

Theresa, I'm sorry to hear about your nephew's accident. I will keep him in my prayers during his recovery. As for a sample letter, have you looked online? I don't have any suggestions other than it would probably touch people's hearts more to have it be from your heart and tell Connor's story.
