Im still learning

At the ornament exchange i was telling Sherry that i couldnt take to big of a drink at one time,she told me that later on i would be able to and geuss what i can i love it i was os thirsty and i had a glass of tea and i drank alot of it and it was amazing i was afraid i would be sipping forever.Thank you Sherry
Also my nurse that comes to pack my incision had the lapband and she told me Lisa drink and get your protein in(i know i know)right well she said write it down and i did and i had stalled well i started drinking more and ate more protein and geuss what this week 6 pounds..woohoo
So i am still learning and i am thankful for everyone even the newbies for the hints and suggestions and recipes and help.
I am 14 months out and have gone from 526 to 289 so i have lost 237 pounds now keep in mind in feb of this year the doc took off 30 pounds of skin....
But im happy and wanted to share and say i feel wonderful and im still learning ..

I have not been this size since right after having my first son and he will be 26 in june.

Lisa you are such an inspiration to us all.  When I struggle with ten or 15 pounds I have to come back to you and everything you have been through to this point.  You definately have kept me from whinning on some days.  We are all very pround of your progress and thank you for sharing your journey so honestly with us so that we are able to learn from you.

    That is FANTASTIC!  I hope this doesn't offend you but that is what my husband weighs!  You've lost one whole husband! -Yet another benefit of RNY!!!!!!  I have a friend that I'd say is about 600lbs and I am hoping he can get the surgery.  I know that he will LOVE hearing about your success.  Some days I think he just feels like he has gotten too big to even have this work.  And you have done it all with such a GREAT attitude.  I can imagine that having that skin taken off was really a blessing.  As my breasts get longer I wonder if I am going to have to start buying pants with cups in the knees.  I can't wait to get everything put back in a relatively nice place.
Reading this post gives us all HOPE!
