Christie, your humor reminds me of my husbands... logical humor!  I will say, "I'm going to jump in the tub" and he will say, "Oh honey, you ought to just step into the tub, if you jump you might hurt yourself."  One does wonder though, where did those sayings come from, ya know?
Well, its just work, work, work for me today. I have battled a head cold and intestinal thing this week, so everyday is a struggle to sit here at my desk and stay awake. It's one of those, I don't feel bad but not good either, things. I know I will feel better enough by Saturday when the hubby and I drive to Indpls to the exchange. I have clothes from size 20 to 26/28. I may even have a few 18. I gave a load of clothes away already when I was around 4 months post-op but, I have others I bought new as I was losing and they are now too big!  That's ok though, its like food, I would rather throw it away in the trash than into my body. So, I have clothes I love and some that are fairly new and I would rather get rid of them to celebrate my losing weight than to keep them like in the past... just in case I would gain back. NOT THIS TIME BABY!!
Have a good day everyone.
Be Well  : )

Hi Everyone.  Sorry it's been a while since posting.  This week has just been yucky for me.  Saturday I noticed a horrible, itchy rash on my neck.  On Sunday I had a sore throat, major headache and a slight fever.  On Monday morning I woke up and could hardly move my fingers they were so sore.  My forearms were really achy too.  I went to wake up my daughter and was scratching an itchy spot on my tummy.  I felt something there so I asked Troy to take a look and it was a deer tick.  I went to the doctor Monday afternoon and he said I have one of the forms of lymes disease.  I'm on antibiotics and they make you feel just yucky.  I've been trying to keep my attitude positive though.  It's not been hard with the weather being so lovely.  I've walked two miles each day this week during my lunch hour.  It's really been good for the soul.  Oh I also found a nest of baby bunnies outside my office.  They are the sweetest things I've ever seen.  I go out there every couple of hours to check up on them and get a nice dose of sunshine.  I'll be glad when the round of medicine is over so I can feel as good as the weather should be making me feel.

I can't make it to the clothing exchange this weekend.  My daughter has a double header softball games in Lynville.  I have to wear lots of sunscreen and take an umbrella because this stupid medicine makes me hyper-sensitive to the sun.  Grrrrrrr...

Oh well....at least I get to be outdoors!

Know I love you guys!
Smooches,
Jacqui

Oh my gosh Jacqui!  Take care of yourself!  Lyme disease in any form is not a good thing!

Sorry we won't get to see you Saturday - but have a great time at the game!

Hugs!

Work is the pits today.  Our systems have been down ALL day and there is nothing to do.  We had a little going away breackfast this morning for someone on another team so that gave us a little relief from the boredom.  I can only play on the internet for so long and then I get bored with that too and it hurts my eyes.

We're getting my new stove delivered after work tonight. I can't wait.  It came with free delivery and set up so we figured we might as well get it and start using it now. No reason to wait for the rest of the kitchen since it's not going to move anywhere anyway.
We ordered the last new window and a new door for the kitchen on Tuesday.  Doors are really expensive.  That one took me by surprise.  I told the sales rep I didn't have the budget for it right now so it would have to wait.  He said let me make a phone call and see what I can do.  He went outside and came back in and the price dropped $900.  He said he got it dropped to cost since we had ordered all the windows and all.  Whatever!
We are really looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday.  I can barely remember the last clothing exchange - I guess I was a little out of it then.  I will make up for it this time though.

Floyd just came to visit my desk so we are going to get a Starbuck's.  See you all Saturday!!!

Oh I hate it when our system is down!  We all rely on computers so much anymore, that we forget how to do things the old fashioned way.

A new stove?  Cool!  What kind?  I got a new one in November - an Electrolux double oven.  I absolutely love it.

Looking forward to seeing both of you Saturday!
