Good morning all.

I am getting housework done this morning and then going to visit a friend of mine from church that had to go to a nursing home.  I am hoping to make a stop at the Unemployment office and get an appointment for help with some medical training.  I think I will see about doing some cross training to help make it easier to find a job.  I have been getting some good suggestions from some of you on the site and I really appreciate it!

I am tackling dirty clothes mountain today so that I wont have any to do this weekend.  I can't wait to see everyone this weekend!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Good morning all!

I had a rough night last night again. Between the spasms and the , I feel like I barely slept. I'll be so glad when Saturday evening gets here and I will have taken my last doses of these antibiotics. And no, no change in the distension or anything yet. I finally slept half-way decent from 4-8:30...in my recliner again.

Bill wants to go to CampWorld this afternoon. I guess they will be having a presentations about RV's at 2. I hope it isn't too basic or I'll be snoozing. We are far from old hands at it but this will be our 3rd summer with an rv so not totally green either. We'll be stopping somewhere and getting dinner while we're out.

Tiffany is coming with me Saturday. Yay! I plan on making my sf Reeces pudding again since it went over so well the last time. Shanna...will you have the time to make your buckeyes again? If you do, hold me back one or point them out to me so I'll be sure to try them this time. I'm most likely bringing something else too, but not sure what yet. Since I just made ham & beans here at home last week, it won't be that. lol.

You all have a good day!

Sherri - I am so sorry you are going through this.  *&^% antibiotics!!!

We want an RV so bad....  one of these days!  Gotta pay off some stuff first.

Seeing Tiffany again will be great!  I couldn't eat your Reeces pudding last time, as I wasn't but 6 weeks out, so look out this time!  I definitely want to try it.  And Shanna's buckeyes too!

Morning Everyone,

Dropping my van off to get looked at this morning. It acted funny on the way home from Illinois Easter weekend and since I really want to go to the clothing exchange - welp, I need it looked at so I know I won't break down and get stranded.

I think I found the problem with my continue depression and weight gain. Even though I'm on HRT (Premarin), I don't think my body is responding to a man mad hormone replacement program. So I called my PCP and I'm trying a holistic approach right now, so far so good, but if it fails I'll try BIHRT (Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy). Between accidentally coming across an article in Family Circle magazine and then turning to my usual episode of Dr Phil and it being about HRT.... it sure sounded like some higher power was trying to tell me something, so I took the hint. Right now I am starting to feel better. I don't feel sluggish, bitter, have anxiety, and feel the need to munch out of boredom either.

My brother was relased from the hospital. Nothing at the moment they can do for him. His bp drops into the 30's when at rest so.... if it continues they MIGHT think about a pace maker.

A friend of mine, locally, has her daughter (17) in the CCU at Methadoist(sp?). She has a blood clot in her brain. They don't know how it got there or how long it's been there. They put her on blood thinners and a pain pump and have her resting as much as possible. So after the clothing exchange I'm gonna stop and visit with her on my way home.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. I'll have a lot of men's clothing with me. Size 36-38 jeans and shorts and l-xl shirts. A few women clothes but not much.  Ulisha... if your interested in going let me know... I could use some adult company to talk to during the drive.

Blessings Everyone

Good Thursday all. It has been a very busy week for me and this morning was one of the busiest by far. Jimmy had an MRI at 8 am this morning on his back.  The doctor seems to think that he has major nerve damage in his lower back and hip area.  So it was off to the hospital for those fun tests.  At least they gave him Xanax to calm him down since he is claustrophobic.  He has crashed on the bed now, and is resting comfortably now.  We will know the results in a few days, so I will let everyone know them then.
Mariah doens't have to have her braces put on just yet.  She has 4 more teeth yet to come in before they will put them on.  She was happy and sad all at the same time.  She wants to get them done and over with.  I can't say that I blame her.....oh well, just another year to wait.
Molly's blood test results came back......all is ok.  She doesn't have mono, or cat scratch fever, or anything else of that nature that we can tell.  The bloodwork all came back negative for what they tested for, so thats one big relief. Phew.
Heard from my sister Tuesday.  They got all of my BIL tumor in the surgery, and there is no signs of any more cancer! Praise the Lord for that wonderful news!  They took 23 lymphnodes as well, and the mass out of his colon.  He will not have to have chemo or radiation.  We are all so relieved for that wonderful news. Thank the Lord for all the prayers! They work miracles!
Tonight is Mariah's class program.  I will take pictures and post them when I get the chance.
It looks like I won't be able to attend the clothing exchange.  I don't have anyone willing to trade days off for me to be able to go, so I guess it will just have to be next time.  I thought about calling in, but I just don't have the $$$$ as it is for gas to drive up.  Oh well. I know you all will have fun.  Enjoy each others company!
Have a great day all. It is going to be beautiful! Get out and enjoy it! I am going to get ready and start working around here at the house.  I have new curtains that were given to me, and I want to get them put up in our room.  They are so pretty, and I can't wait to get a change in here.
Take care! TTYL
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Wow LaChelle - you've had a lot on your plate.

Hope all will be well with Jimmy, and glad Molly's tests are ok!   And hooray for your BIL!  What wonderful news.

Sorry you won't be able to come to the clothing exchange.  I'll have to make up another excuse to my hubby as to why we need to come down and spend the night at West Baden Springs Hotel again....  actually, we don't need an excuse - I love it there!
