Sure Happy It's Thursday!!

Wow - starting the daily thread two days in a row....

Getting ready to hit the shower (wonder how that expression got started?  Why would anyone hit the shower?  What did it ever do to you besides get you clean?) and head for work.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone at the clothing exchange.  Are we going to have name tags this time? 

I'm going to miss  Ellen at this one - she helped me find some cool stuff at the last exchange. 

Can't wait to live vicariously through watching Shanna's excitement about prom!  I never got to go to one either.

Well, at least we are one day closer to Friday.  Yahoo!

MELISSA GOT A JOB! MELISSA GOT A JOB!!  Life is good in the Hess household again, or at least it will be soon. I was offered a position yesterday that I promptly snatched up.

I was up from 1:30-3:30am with Zachary again last night. He is still sick, fevers, etc. I'm gonna call the doc today and ask for some bloodwork to be done. The nurse in me is really starting to get worried.

My husband is going to take me out to dinner tonight to celebrate the new job. Not sure where we're going, but I'm in the mood for a really good salad. So sorry Christie, no recipes from me. I did make "pretzel chicken" last night. It's one of my husband's favorites from O'Charleys, but they took it off their menu. So I made my own version last night for him and he loved it. Christie, I'd be happy to type up the 4 recipes we got at the cooking class on Monday and email them to you if you want. Just let me know.

Good Thursday morning my fellow hoosier losers.  I am off work today so will clean the house a bit and then get ready for our trip to Kings Island.  We start a new work week on Sunday's and my boss was nice enough to give me Sunday off too...that was so super sweet because when you work in the restaurant industry its virtually unheard of.

I am going to heed everyones advise and call my nut today and talk to her about my lack of weight loss and see what she recommends.  I will keep you all posted.

Edited because I forgot to add a recipe.  Tonights menu will be Chicken Fajita Salad.
Boiled chicken breast then shredded in the food processor ( I still find this the easiest way to eat my chicken)
Bell Peppers
Onions
Can of tomatoes
Fajita seasoning
I simmer all ingredients in my skillet...theres enough water naturally so I add just about 1/4cup.  Simmer until your veggies are tender to your liking.  Put on top of a bed of lettuce and add lowfat shredded cheese.  OMGosh yummy.  This offers about 23 grams of protein.

Not doing much of anything today. I'm way excited. I've lost 7 lbs since Monday. I have no clue what I've done different really but I like it. :) Things are really beginning to look up for me and I'm soo thankful that things seem to be doing better for the most part. I recognize that I'm still going to have bad days but I can only hope and pray they aren't debilitating like they have been.

No clue what we're doing for dinner tonight, I'm just way to spontaneous and impulsive to plan ahead lol.

Hi all... I got here to work this morning. Had yet another morning where I thought about turning around to home for bed. I can't afford to keep missing though. So what can you do? Just go through the motions and do what you can.

I am aching this morning. I miss Maggie.
